We are on a mission to find the perfect whiskey for you
We raise a glass to all the members of the whiskey community whose contributions have created the most vibrant whiskey application on the market. You give the application life and brought us where we are today.

Sipping Confidently
Like many great ideas, the realization came to us at the bottom of a bottle of whiskey. We sat around a table and lamented that the best way to figure out what whiskeys we liked was to buy them and commit to the whole bottle. The only alternatives were high-commitment subscription plans to receive tiny samples of whiskeys that we could never find. It was such an all or nothing approach.
As we sipped, we thought that there just had to be a better way to document this experience and use it to build a database that could benefit how people interacted with whiskey.
Thus, the plan was born; starting on paper, moving to computer files, and ultimately funnelling to the structure of an app.
A Joint Venture:
Like all great ideas, many have experienced a similar problem. In developing an app, we met another whiskyhead from the Netherlands plagued by a different frustration. He had imbibed on his perfect whisky and did not know what it was. Sampling and rating had put him on a quest to rediscover his lost love, and an app to chronicle it.
Though presently he has not yet found his lost whisky, he continues to search in all interesting places and his efforts have laid a most important cornerstone for where we are today.

Keep sipping and let us know what we can do to help… and what we should try.
May your pours be always generous,

A great man once said something along the lines of, “Too much of anything is bad, but too much Old Crow is probably also a bad idea”. I can’t remember the exact quote, but I’d argue that too much Old Crow is barely enough.
Favorite Whiskey: Old Crow Reserve

Every whiskey tells a story. It begins with the nose: a waft of aroma, like hors d’oeuvres to excite the senses. Then the taste: a dram, which exuberantly departs the initial flavor. Then the finish: a delicious burn that lingers, never out-staying its welcome.
Favorite Whiskey: Maker’s Mark

We have one house rule. Open every whiskey immediately and have a sip. With the future but a diamond-like flicker on the approaching horizon, a gentleman should always be prepared with the knowledge of his favorite whiskey.
