Tamdhu announces second Dalbeallie Dram

After the popularity of the first Dalbeallie Dram last year, Tamdhu announced the launch of the limited edition Dalbeallie Dram No.2. It’s their second Collectors Journey bottling in honour of the Dalbeallie Station and the Victorian railway that played such a vital role in bringing the finest sherry casks from Spain to Tamdhu Distillery.

Tamdhu Dalbeallie Dram No.2 is exclusively matured in Oloroso sherry casks from Jerez, boasts a natural colour and is bottled un-chillfiltered at cask strength (61.1% abv). It is only for sale directly from Tamdhu and only 1,000 individually numbered bottles will be made available.

Official tasting notes

Nose: Sticky toffee pudding, blackcurrant and chocolate, ginger biscuit, walnuts, vanilla and dry sherry.
Palate: Silky with rich sherry oak, crème caramel, juicy fruits and gentle zestiness.
Finish: Sherry notes really build, clementine, lemon curd and pleasing spice.
