A very decent intro to the world of Bushmills...
Very interesting nose, with vanilla and caramel and some citrus notes. As always with Bushmills, it's a Speysider in waiting, sharing many of the characteristics of its Scottish cousins. Promising.
Much as on the nose, adding some kind of floral vibe towards the end, like eating a rose petal or something mad like that... Yes, citrus fruit and ripe green apple with sugary vanillas and caramels.
Medium. Consistent, with the nose and palate flavours running from start to finish. A good introduction to Irish whiskey, while also good on the rocks and as a mixer. Yes, very good indeed.
