This is supposed to be the benchmark for Irish whiskeys. I enjoyed it, can recommend, although I’d be curious for the cask strength version. See full review below.
Alcoholic note, which is surprising since it’s just 40% abv. Caramel, hint of vanilla, green apples, sweet.
Smooth, butterscotch at the front of my tongue, the typical Irish whiskey feeling.
Complex, medium long, hint of oak and spice. Dried (light) fruits.
