Sweetness, significant spiciness, fruitiness /apples and pears/, sultanas, vanilla, caramel, lemon zest, lime bitterness, little touch of oak. Shorter and little bit dry aftertaste. Lighter profile than I expected, I really can not find pronounced sherry cask influence. Nice drinking.

Pleasant fruity nose, despite watery texture, the taste is rich and round. The finish is spicy and short but warming, that left me wanting more. Nice dessert dram.

Beautiful colour & nose, oily on the glass, medium bodied, very flavoursome!
Significant sherry, light spirit, toffee and a medium-long, pleasant finish. I got a hint of butterscotch & ginger spice, a tiny hint of smoke.👍 Happy I purchased the 1 litre version. Winner:

Revisiting, the nose is still pretty harsh. And it's still a feisty, spicy flavour at first, but a rather dry and kinda nasty bitter, not too pleasant finish..
Kind of disappointed with this one, the ratings had me expecting more. Still not a fan..

Couldnt pass on 50ml sample bottles for $1.69 each.
At first the nose was, as best I can describe, salted, smoked apricot, it took a good 20-25 minutes in the glass to relax and let the sherry and dark stone fruits come out and play, the palate is buttery and a little viscous with salty, smokey dark stone fruits, the finish is warm and longish,

better (because a bit more sophisticated) than the 10 years old, especially because of the late sweetness

wood and a bit peat, sherry and a hint of raising dark chocolate notes
Palate
extremely strong start, but then it turns into a nicely balanced whisky with sherry and tiny peat flavours, the dark chocolate is more obvious now, oddly enough the mouthfeel cannot decide if it is dry or creamy, the longer the dram stays in the glass the sweeter it becomes
Finish
strong at the back sides of the tongue, very long and warm all the way down to the stomach

Nice dram from Glenfaclas. Sherry all the way through from nose to palate and into the finish. If you make it through the sherry there are good flavors hiding behind making this well worth the time. Looking forward to enjoying this bottle.

Honey, raisins and sherry influenced nose. Sherry is definitely present on the palate and a touch of smoke as well. The finish is long, dry and a bit spicy with again notes of sherry. Highly recommended considering the price for a 1L bottle is around €30,-
