Apple with some cigar ash at the end. Recimmend.
Young but well balanced and fruity whisky. An everyday dram.
Nose: Malt, hay, fresh fruits, flowery bouquet and vanilla.
Palate: sharp, stingy alcohol in the first moment, then oak, roasted wood, vanilla toffee, light notes of pepper and malt.
Finish: sweet, long, pepper and a little roasted oak.
Malt, hay, fresh fruits, flowery, vanilla.
sharp, oak, roasted, vanilla toffee, pepper, malt
sweet, pepper, oak
On first approach, it is pleasantly soft and gentile without being boring. There is a nice balance of spirit and Cask influence. It carries notes of malt, citrus, and a very slight hint of peat smoke. Weirdly, this seems like what a Ledaig 10 or a Bowmore 15 Golden and Elegant would be like with much lower peat levels, but still with that hint of peat.
floral. not too smokey. short finish
Nice dram
Schöner malziger Highland Malt mit leichter Rauchnote…

A well balanced whisky
Floral, sweet honey with vanilla and spice.
Malt, earthy palate. Mild sweet smoke.
Citrus and herbs.
zachte whisky
Smooth and much lighter wood. Much more subtle and nuanced than most Speysides with just a whiff of smoke and a touch of heat on the finish. Very nice on the first tasting.
18 Aug 2020 - Its Muscat/Tawny in colour from our guide. Soft oily film on the glass. First whiff was magnificent. Fruity & sweet, with zero, of the anticipated smoke from other reviews. Taste is superb, herbal fresh, spirit is delicate but pleasurable, mint, then smoke is ever so mild at the end, but perfect. A little short is the finish, be better @ 43/46? but this is a great drop & so welcome in my growing collection.
4th Sep: Nothing to add 👍- no need to dilute which was my intent, as it has everything.
Fruit, herbal, mint, even vanilla?
Smoke just shows itself at the end. Benign spirit, but perfect, mint, chocolatey & the sherry is obvious.👍
Medium finish but so good, you want it longer. Smoke fades, chocolate & spice!
A distant dry woodiness!
Sweet and smooth.
Though pleasant, a relatively unremarkable example of the region. L Mulligan Spey at Home tasting 1/5/20
a little dusty
golden syrup, grapefruit.
nice and mellow if short
This Whisky and Craigellachie 13 are the best Speyside whiskies you can buy. More complex and flavour then Macallan and a lot cheaper.
Pineapple, Walnut, Honey coated Macadamias and pear
Vanilla and coconut leads briefly then Macadamia and a little honey follow, then comes the real nuttiness and a little spice like nutmeg.
A nice, spicey oak and nutty finish and returning for an encore, is the subtle vanilla and coconut.
Well balanced and harmonious flavour with a quite serious and strict impression.
Various fruits with an idea of marigold.
Malty, pleasant and a trace of smoke.
Medium, oak coming through.
4/10 smokey, sweet but with a bitter dry aftertaste
Smooth whisky, with fruity, vanilla and honey notes A bit dry at the end.
Easy, smooth but nice!
some peat and malt in the nose, full-bodied and smooth on the palate
n: friuty, vanilla, honey, malt
t: fruity sweetness
a: sweet, wood
Fruity and easy drinking Speyside whisky. Probably a good single malt whisky for beginners?
Fruity with red apples, pears and some pineapple.
Lean mouthfeel. Sweet fruitiness with some pear. Hints of spicy alcohol burn on the side.
Fruity with hints of pear and some spicy heat from alcohol.
Volle smaak met een hint van noten.
was ok. remember being plain. not bad for the price however. first whisky from the tasting club
pleasant, well balanced malt, soft and nice, light, very good to drink
light fruits, ripe pear, pineapple, a little bit banana, dried mango, apricots, some vanilla and sweetness, a very little bit of floral aromas
mild, citrus and other light fruits, getting malty, vanilla rises
pleasant, light oak, citrus fruit remains
Good whisky. Light, middle of the road. not too peaty.
honey, raisin, pepper, earth
Sweet, fruity
Pepper, floral
Nice aroma, improves after it breathes for a few minutes. Expected a little bit more smoke on the finish.
Sweet maltiness, just a hint of smoke
Light fruity taste, malt, a little more smoke comes through if I take a breath through my nose with my mouth slightly open while it sits on my tongue.
Sweet, light nice burn, subtle smoke medium-ish finish
smoke, burn, malt, honey
Really interesting Speyside.. Has that lightness, but also richness from the oak and a really subtle smokiness.
beim Nosing alkoholisch, davon beim Tasting nichts zu spüren, eher mild, angenehm, jedoch wenig Komplexität.
It is fruity and spicy, easy to drink. Like
Nice smooth whisky. Not too complex, well balanced.
lekker. zoet, fruitig
Very smooth with a smoky but gentle finish. Worth the price
salty, fruity and a little Smokie
A very nice pretty dram. No real smoke behind it. A very good whisky to let people try.
Retrogusto torbato, molto buono.
Smooth and pleasant, floral, honey and sherry.
Significant notes of apple, toffee
Smooth, pleasant, toffee, honey, sherry,
Honey, pleasant warmth,
Strong but still very subtle with a nice smokey finish.
Smokey
Subtle with hints of frutiness

For me this have a strong taste of licorice but not for long, perhaps thats malt taste. Fruity finish
it's a floral taste. really good one
Amazing nose and nice balance. Sweet and light.
Vanilla, honey, blueberries, cranberries, some flowers...
Vanilla, sandal, sherry, white chocolate, some woody...
Bitter chocolate, sweet cream, sherry...
light body, very little smooth but a good smooth scotch
one of my favorites... my reference pallet is limited. But I would say this is less floral and fruity and more caramel and vanilla sweet than other speysides.
light, crisp, hints of apple with a floral finish!
light and easy drinking, malty with vanilla.
fruchtig, eichenlastig, mild, sehr ausgewogen
felt about it now. Its simple, floral, easy drinking. I think its rather boring now. But was a good beginner whisky for me.
Good price quality level and a classic taste with a fruity, sweet and a little peated note.
sweet, hint of vanilla, short in the end.
Etwas flach vom Geschmack, etwas zu eichenlastig.
decent

not distinctive
Freshly cut wood, pepper, and floral notes with a hint of smoke. Lovely, but with a bit of an alcohol bite.
Very fruity on the nose. first sip has a bite to it but very smooth cinnamon raspberry
nice one. good stuff
Nose citrus, fruit, ginger, oak, and almonds. Taste is fruity but dry. Overall decent.
Very light floral whisky. Hints of peaches and lavender. Smooth finish. Great summer dram
Very pleasant sweet and floral whisky
Floral, sweet and a hint of liquorice
Sweet honey and nuts
Honey with some spice and smokiness
A bit of alcohol on the tongue. not as smooth as I prefer. Vanilla, toffee, honey.
My personal second best. A complex but soft character. In sent and taste there are distinct aroma's of peat, fruit and smoke
mild und entspannt
my "beginner malt". has everything needed to get introduced in malt tasting world. still enjoying very much and often, as a relaxing yet complex tasting
geur vanille. smaak iets salmiak. scherp. bitter. metaal. snel weg
very Nice smooth delicate fruity.
A little harsh for a Speysider, but decently drinkable. Does much better with a teaspoon of spring water and a minute's breathing time.
delicious sweet and oakey start but bit rude finish. ok speyside
A bit sharp for my taste, nonetheles a nice one when.you get used to it
lekkere spicy wishkey aparte afdronk
Very complex Speysider, pretty smooth and delicate. Very good balanced.
Gentle, with tastes of herbs, grass and a little bit oak
Hard to describe! Very delicate. Notes of herbs, light spices. With every dram, there are new and different impressions. Very complex.
Short to medium, more oak coming throu.
Not bad not good
nicely balanced, not much smoke or peat, drinkable
