Bright floral nose. seems like a good summertime whisky. peaches, apricots, honeydew mellon. this is the strong point of the whisky.
vanillay palate. smooth but not very exciting
sharp and uninspiring finish
if you're looking for that malty muskness, but don't want to go overboard, this scotch is likely for you. mild sweetness rounds it out, but comes with a astringent sharpness that gives it some character. reminds me of a slightly spicyer single malt version of monkey shoulder.
medium astringency, with slight apricots and clear malt. hints of brine.
a clear malty muskness and Tang. mild sharpness mixed in with a mild sweetness. has an oak barrel spice with it as well
light and watery finish, with a slight bite. medium heat and alcohol note that lingers
Not bad, a bit more sherry than I prefer but still very drinkable.
