Always interested in trying out closed distillery bottlings and this was no exception
The nose is light and somewhat sweet. It certainly does not give away very much.
Sweet, light and very smooth. Barley notes and a touch brown sugar are at the front, but there is a drier sultana note that sort of spoils it for be a bit. This is a relatively young whisky for a closed distillery bottle, and I'd be interested to see how what's left has matured.
Somewhat dry and malty, again. Some oaky spices appear, with a warm, stewed green apple and cinnamon sweetness that fades away quickly
