oaky nose, sweet taste. could be more rummy
Exceptionally prominent rum finish, with a rich vanilla taste.
Light nose, vanilla, wood, slight rum.
First taste is very sweet, honey and licorice. Aftertaste is second to none.
I like the idea of a rum finish, but t it's not enough rum in my opinion.
The rum isn't very prominent, but definitely adds a spicy, tropical angle to this whisky. The combination of subtleties - rum, salt, oak, spices and honeyed sweetness - makes this an interesting and tasty whisky.
Zesty pineapple, raisins and butterscotch.
Oily, medium thick mouthfeel. Salty vanilla and spicy toffee. Light rum.
Sweet rum and tropical spices. Slightly bitter, but not in a bad way. Like taking a bite too close to the center of a pineapple.
