Spicy vanilla
Brilliant quality malt.
Typically what I love about "medium" aged whiskies, (14-16).
Great balance between the wood and spirit.
Very complex.
My favourite Arran.
Light, floral, malt, cereal, vanilla, sweet fruits, red apple, citrus.
Sweet tropical fruit, slight salinity, sour citrus, sour apple, savoury herbal, fresh coriander, slight bitter orange pith and soft white pepperiness at the end, dry.
Light pepper and oak, malt, salt.
fruit, honey, floral and a little bit of brine. Very delicate and balanced
Malty nose, oily, creamy palate, a little salted peanut on the spicy medium finish. Very enjoyable
Fruity, sweet and smooth.
oak, malt
This one needs a drip of water to pack a punch. Then it's intense, slightly briny. Great
фруктовый запах
жестковатый вкус
It's character is more pronounced compared
weicher und ausgewogener als der 10 Jährige.
im Geschmack etwas zu weich
I find it to be good but thin when comparing to others of this age. The alcohol taste seems to overwhelm the flavour intent.
good
love how playfull the character of this whisky is
A significant upgrade on the 10yo and a very enjoyable, smooth expression
Pine, caramel, cinnamon, light malt, sea breeze, tangy berries
Citrus feel, soft caramel, dry
Heather, mango, tropical fruit
Very good island whisky. Powerful sherry maturation and well balanced with the alcohol.
Deep sherry nose, fruity with banana, plums and wild berries. Caramel and almonds.
Strong entry, good alcoholic strength. Roasted hazelnuts and dark chocolate. Salty.
Dry and oaky cocoa powder finish.
Super easy to drink, smooth, well balanced, a few drops of water really opens it up beautifully.
Full bodied, unctuous, full of flavour, spicy
easy drink

Nose is weak at first but then unfolds with hints of chocolate, citrus from grapefruit and malt. Taste is sweet but not as sweet or bitter as expected. It goes down rather easy and is unexpectedly light and delicate. Finish is somewhat smoky. Overall very good and worth the step up from 10 yr.
Grapefruit, malt, salt, nuts, chocolate
citrus, salt, smoke, oak
smoke, salt, oak
sehr fein mit langem Abgang
Honey, depth, mild floral, near no smoke/ peat.

Better than the 10-year old expression; not by a large measure, but still better. A very pleasurable dram.
nice spacy drum
Nice spicy dram. Nice sweet tones, but low on extremes. bit salty
Cereal, fruit,sweet,
sweet, balance not exceptional. bit of peat.
not to long. comfortable. little spicy.
