Really nice and sweet whisky, great for Sunday's dessert. Easy sipping.
Nose: Carmel, citrus, almonds,
Palate: malty, citrus, sweet orange,
Finish: quite short, light, crisp,
Another good bottle from Auchentoshan. I really enjoyed the sweet caramel flavor of this. Not a particularly “complex” whisky but nice overall. I still pick up a bottle of this occasionally which is probably the best indicator.
Redelijk pittig, kruidig.
In context to my score. I must of had a bad bottle, all i could get was musty old dry pet food. tried it on another day same thing. even picked it out of a line up blind. will have to get a minature to test again.
Nice smell - flowers and fruits. Simple, sweet taste and a rather poor finish.
Flowers, mandarins, peach
Malt, honey, chocolate
Alkohol and chocolate
Smooth, sweet with almonds and bit of caramel. Hints of smoky notes.

Expected a little more. Lacking some body, but nice aroma and finish.

sweet. Flowers. smooth. oak
flowers. oak.
sweet. not very oily. very slight smoke aftertaste.
slight smoke. oak and some heat on the finish. medium long.
A smooth lowland, hint of vanilla
Triple distilled, so its very smooth, but unfortunately very few flavor profiles that i can discern. A tad too flimsy and weak for my taste. I prefer the 43% version compared to this offering. I still like the distillery though and I think this would make a great starter whisky.
nuttiness on both the nose and taste, vanilla, nutmeg, wee floral, basically no finish for a 12y old, caramel added certainly
-
typical Lowland malt, light and nice
Sherry, dark chocolate in the front, vanilla and oak behind that, white fruits above everything, over all a bit flat
the malt comes sweet out of the glass before you are there, sweet still in your mouth, with vanilla and herbs, a bit dry
mild
Weak nose. Round sweet taste. Slightly buttery.
Mandarin oranges and honeysuckle on the nose, oranges in syrup and some tropical notes (guava? not pineapple) combine oddly with the honeysuckle on the palate. short, light finish
Uninteresting. Shapeless as a blend. Liver damage for nothing..
A mild, delicate nose, not so easy to catch. Strawberries, apricots, green apples. Some cereals and fresh yeast. A bit lemon cest.
Mild and gentle, slight oak bitterness, bit nutty. Buttery feel.
Short, salty finish
tastes like any other blended..
Easy drinking, light taste, I smell chestnut and caramel. It's a Lowland malt and no Islay obviously!
Sweet, light, easy to drink
Toffee. Easy drinking
отличный нос и вкус, но очень дымное послевкусие
pehmeä, makea, hedelmällinen, helppo
good taste to price ratio, but the three wood is definitely better.
prima om te beginnen
sweet, stunning nose with citrus and sugar cane
Very nice, smooth and with a depth of flavour. Some wood, tannins, maybe caramel, but not powerfully sweet, more like rich. Also not peaty.
everyday go to
Easy drinking, good middle of the road inoffensive whisky. No lasting after taste. An open bottle seems to evaporate
Easy drinking whisky, warm with fruity notes
this is fruity but not really complex a bit tempered.
excellent warm vanilla and toffee easy drinking
leichte Rauchnote, Orangenaroma sehr lang anhaltend, sehr süß und lecker
A little sweetness. Pleasantly light - uncomplicated and easy to drink.
light smoky backing

ok
sweet, vanilla, caramel, easy whisky
sweet and long aftertaste
feiner Whisky. fruchtig aber etwas flach im Vergleich mit älteren Jahrgängen
My first triple distilled whisky. Interesting sweet yellow fruit nose, but a bit too much alcohol on first taste.
It opens up on the palate, revealing toffee and apricot flavours. Interesting daily dram, yet not breathtaking.
Manderin and honey on the nose. The taste starts out as honey and turns to grassy/hay and ends in vanilla and caramel.
Sweet and caramel, with a strong aftertaste
Quite a flavoursome lowland dram. Pleasant nose, well balanced on the palate and develops smoothly into the finish.
Warm oak spice, dried peach, cereals.
Tannins, oak, a little sweet barley, vanilla pods. Nicely balanced and developing into the finish.
Dry and very long, spice and a little sweetness from the barley.
Sweet, lots of honey and caramel.
sweet, light, a bit of caramel. floral nose,
Für Anfänger geeignet
very smooth, pleasant flavour. it does die on you quickly in aftertaste though.
A gentle, fruity Whisky, good for starters!
floral flavor, excellent whiskey for price
floral/fruity nose. Sweet on the tongue with a robust grainy finish.
A sweet, gentle whisky, my favorite Lowlands single-malt.
Fine triple distilled lowlander. Perfect for Single Malt newbies.
My first impression was marzipan, then bright fruits, a bit vanilla. Pretty smooth and tender.
Almonds, pea, honey mixed with a bit of oak and vanilla. Very smooth again. Almost refreshing.
Medium finish, not complex but with great tenderness. The fruits and the almonds are still there.
Sweet on nose. Sweet and tender first touch in mouth. Spicy and nicely bitterish taste.
Fruit and raisins on the nose. Some fruit and sherry on the taste, not so smooth
A nice lowland singel malt with a fruity and a little bitter taste.
Nice caramel, vanilla and citrus taste. Nose is a bit too much alcoholic note. Easy and refreshing to drink.
