The Muscat gives the whisky a nice, fruity edge, but the 40% holds it back too much. Too mellow and lacking complexity.

oranges, yellow plums, apricots, yellow sultanas and notes of dried grass. Faint oak and a whiff of vanilla-butterscotch cream.

winey fruit juice from concentrate. More towards red fruit than the nose, with red papaya and water melon. Sweet and lightly spicy.

Light oak and dry tea. Mellow and somewhat underwhelming.
