Très très bon bourbon
Been drinking bourbon for 3-4 months now. This is the most flavorful I’ve had. The flavor bursts especially when preceded by a “wheated” bourbon but you don’t get the heavy alcohol taste you get with let’s say a Knob Creek 9. I will look for other EC’s but the barrel proofs might be too much octane for me.
Lovely full of flavour, hot finish
interestin bourbon with notes of vanilla and cinnamon some sourness and wood notes and soft caramel as the base. Also a quite bitter aftertaste. Very spikey whiskey with a present heat but not unpleasant.
a good whiskey
if you are just venturing into the distinct whiskey categories, this the one bourbon that'll set the standard for the bourbons. Casks. single-barrels, traditionally distilled this is where you begin
The 12 year old Elijah Craig has now been discontinued, therefore the 12 is a bit more pricey. Nice on the nose with a vanilla, and very slight caramel scent. also some spice. much the same on the palate, but the spice notes can seem very overwhelming. Very decent finishing length, but very bitter aftertaste which I am not a big fan of.
Caramel, Spices, Slight note of Vanilla. 18/25
much the same as the nose, but the spice notes in my opinion, a tad overwhelming. 17/25
Decent finishing length. Bitter aftertaste, which I'm not a fan of. 15/25
great balanced flavours. not aggressive. good value
Premium bourbon for a low price!
Very rounded mouthfeel, moderate burn, decent flavor.
Nice sweet vanilla notes and a hint of caramel. rather sweet but delicious.
Too bad this was discontinued. Good caramel and vanilla and a little brine. Quick to medium finish where the oak comes through.
mellow nose. smooth taste. not a lot of complexity. good for the cost
Decent bourbon, mild burn, it makes for an okay sipper.
I liked it
Bittersweet and caramel. As smooth as you would have expected from a 12year old bourbon.
Dark copper color. Nose is Dark Cherries, Apricots, Vanilla, Cinnamon and Oak. Oaky, slightly dry on the toungue. Fruit on the roof of the mouth. Light on the burn during the quick finish that doesnt go beyond the back of the throat. Nice easy sipper if you're in the mood for something thats spent some time in Oak and won't break ya.
great balance of wood and vanilla. a little too balanced. great daily if you can find it.
für die 47% Alkohol angenehm leicht scharf. Kräftig und leicht fruchtig im Geschmack. Ein wenig torfig, macht es interessant. Toller US Whiskey
my go to weekday bourbon
young leather, toffee, chocolate and mild spices with just enough sweetness to help you remember it's a bourbon. packs a punch with some heat due to the higher ABV. not your typical corn sweetness but a great dram!

not my style of bourbon. Is Sweet, has a bite, but tastes like there is to much water in there. There are better bourbons available for a lower price. whiskey is not that Bad and some people will like it.
Klasse bourbon! Beetje branderig, door het hogere alcohol percentage. Maar de zoete, bloesem achtige smaak maakt dat meer dan goed! Lekkere bourbon!
Potent, unusual, dry, almost bitter bourbon. definitely not my favourite, especially at that price .
