Redbreast is voor mij de Whisky. Je krijgt zo veel voor een leuk prijsje. Vind wel de 12 beter wat vreemd is misschien maar de 12 is wat pittiger. Volle zoete noterige en klein beetje fruit en dat allemaal tegelijk.

Ein echtes Brett. Top Whisky.

Etwas robuster und schwerer als der 12 Jährige.Ein paar Tropfen Wasser tun ihm gut. Interessanter, guter Ire.

Nose

Eher mild mit Äpfeln und Vanille.

Palate

Kraftvoll mit dunklen Beeren, Trockenobst und Pfeffer.

Finish

Trocken und lang. Weiterhin scharf und würzig mit Fasseinfluss.

Beautiful whiskey! Effortlessly sauve, rich, oily and balanced, perfect amount of sweetness and spice, there’s short bread, vanilla, dried fruits and sherry notes. Finish is medium length with subtle sweetness and spice.

Fruity malt, waxy oak and gentle spices. Lovely texture and nicely layered.

Nose

Fruity: fresh grapes, pear drops and apple skin. This is accompanied by soft baking spices, honeycomb and vanilla sponge cake.

Palate

More fruit, but more red this time. Raspberry, peach, faint cherry and butterscotch toffee. Waxy malt. Gentle ginger and cinnamon.

Finish

Light oak and powdered sugar.

much liked an older bottling, then I got a more recent bottling and it had a very strong glue smell, really off putting. Poured it down the drain after several tries, not planning on buying again

In the mouth, robust and spicey, slightly fizzy and sweet, with notes of roasted almonds, nuts and honey.

Amazing. Can definitely detect the sherry influence but sticks to its roots with the classic buttery, vanilla cake flavors of redbreast. Full flavored, yet delicate, smooth, wonderfully complex, sweet, and fruity. Having trouble finding anything to complain about with this whisky

Sweet fruity nose with some hints of vanilla and honey. Triple distillation noticeable on the taste as it appears light-flavoured and void of robust flavors but also exceptionally smooth. The sweetness from fruit and bitterness from lemon peels is not overbearing. Finish is long and sweet and leaves a unique angel cake like flavor on the palate. A subtle yet appealing Irish whiskey.

Fantastically rich nose, reminds me russian easter cake, madeira, nuts and raisin and so on... (too lazy to describe). The taste completely corresponds to this, but without excessive confectionery sweetness, but with the sense of gentlemanly restraint. Some pleasant woodiness attached.

Öljyinen suutuntuma ja alkoholi jyrää. Poltteen laskettua samaa parfyymistä hedelmäisyyttä kuin maussa. Makea on. Vesilisä avaa kukkakedon suuhun.

Finish

Keskipitkä. Kiristyy loppua kohti tammisuuteen.
