Aroma de baunilha, bem perfumado, doce e suave. Gosto adocicado, também puxado pra baunilha, talvez um pouco de caramelo. Muito gostoso. Quando passa para a garganta, dá a sensação de estar esquentando.
The most enjoyable bourbon whisky
IF you can find this obscure Bourbon, I recommend picking it up for the right price. It's a dry and nutty concoction that drinks great neat, on the rocks or in a cocktail. Despite being low-rye, it stands up pretty well to whatever you throw it in.
The nose is that famous aroma of peanut shells and sawdust: woody and nutty in nearly equal measure. There is a sniff is something that reminds me of pool chlorine. Black pepper spices that mingle well with the wood of the barrel it came from. A distinct wood lacquer aroma in the way back of the nostril.
The first flavor is peanuts with the shells still on them: almost overwhelmingly salty. Barrel spices and burnt oak char. More of that lacquer that manifests itself almost as dark chocolate. Black licorice, corn syrup and toffee. Spicy cinnamon at the tail end.
The finish has a lot of wood that is more like a sherry barrel than burnt oak, although there is definitely a char there. It's very, very dry on the palate. Cinnamon and pepper spices keep dancing whole everyone else rests. The corn syrup is the final flavor I can pick up.
One of my go to's. Cheap, great for mixing, nice burbon flavor.

A bourbon that needs no introduction. Often overlooked and passed up on given its cheap price (perhaps?). I would not discount this one easily as there's a reason why this bottle remains to be one of the best-selling bar staple around. It has a distinct bourbon character that keeps one coming back.
Nose: Prominent notes I get are caramel, some cherries or grapefruit of sorts, hints of walnut and oak. Some rootbeer notes were picked up as well. There's a nutty, salty undertone that makes you crave a sip or two. Actually pleasant and inviting. Not a complex nose but appealing. I also get a slight hint of corn.
Palate: Sweet on the uptake, with traces of corn more pronounced. Nose provides more than the palate, but still enjoyable. I would say more watery as opposed to "smooth". Definitely an easy drinker that would do well on the rocks and as a mixer. I do like this neat and best enjoyed with or after a meal.

Palate: more of a woodsy maple malt, caramel apple, sweet toffee-almond
Modest finish & heat but pleasant enough for a sweet sipper.
Drank this in my early days, mixed of course: Learnt many, many things since. Great memories, very easy to drink, enjoyable flavour....nothing complex. Perfect mixer.

Sweet and spicy, not very well rounded. When sipped neat the notes dissapear instantly only leaving a burning sensation. Using the rest of it in barbecue recipes not for drinking.

With all the small batch and single barrel offerings out there today, JB White Label seems pedestrian. However, for its price and availability, it is perfect for mixing and high balls. I keep a bottle on hand for those who are not into higher proof bourbon, or those who think they need to take my hard to obtain bourbons and mix them with soda, ginger etc. I also like to use it from time-to-time as a base line comparison to other bourbon during blind tests. Sometimes my taste buds need a reset.

Fair bourbon, not the best, but good value for money
Smooth, decent flavor, I found some of this a party last month and it made the party better. Wouldn’t turn it down if someone offered me some. Don’t understand why the average rating is a 60%, it’s better than that.

Sher vanillig mit Honig und Karamell, typischer Bourbon Geruch. Jedoch ist er beim zweiten Nosing ziemlich flach!

Jim Beam White gave me heartburn years ago, but I thought I would try it again. I love the smell. Clean, bright, then a bit hot. So I sparked it. 5 minutes airtime. The roll is definitely better when served hot. room temperature gives you leather, rose, Heather, then heat that is overwhelming to a burn that leads to semi sweet very long burnt Carmel finish. Served hot, goes Heather, Rose, clove, Pepper, leather, peat, cherry, second burn, honey, burnt Carmel very long finish that leaves your breath sweet. I won't turn it down but I won't buy another bottle. No heartburn this time. 😉

Thin, high nose. Nice mouthfeel that's quickly destroyed by a strong burn. Light caramel finish. Quickly becomes sour after a few tastes.

Jim beam Is one of the world's best known whiskies . I feel that because it is widely available and therefore offers a very affordable price tag that it is highly underrated .Jim beam may be a cheap bourbon but it is definitely not a bad bourbon.

It seemed to be more tasty in the past. Or did I grow up? Now I feel some acidic taste, that makes this bourbon not very good.
Beginner bourbon. The best that can be said about it is that it's cheap... which was good enough when I was in college thirty-five years ago. Now, it's best left in the past.
