peanut flavor was overpowering for me, absolutely could not stand to drink a full glass. this was not something I will ever drink again.
good proof and good drink really sweetened up over time giving it more depth
cinnamon, maple, wood, spice
cant place the flavor maybe the char. there is a sweetness at the front but it is quickly overpowered but stands more over time as a sweet vanilla note
hot finish with a oak note.
Glad I tried it, didn't become a favorite though. First opened the bottle smells and tastes very nutty, almost like boiled peanuts, perhaps pecans. I liked it much vetter after a week or so. The nuttiness mellowed out and flavors of caramel came out more. A bit of a lighter/thinner whiskey.
Was a good whiskey with a bite similar to Bulleit. it had a long finish with strong caramel tones.
it was a flavorful but the caramel lingard longer then I liked.
pretty thin palate. just okay. woodford Reserve much better for less bucks
Sour apple and leather on the nose, with a woody and nutty finish.
Just okay. Glad I tried it to see what the fuss was about, but probably won't buy again.
Awesome value. If this came in handles, it would be my daily drinker. Good Stuff!
I love Willett so I was trying to see if anything else put out by KBD was anywhere near as good. This isn't anywhere close. Too harsh and the alcohol is there throughout, musty and astringent.
a bit spicy. strong
