My first Japanese Whisky. Very impressive
Sweet, Carmel, Dried fruits
Wood, Sweet
Peat, Smoke, Sweet, Dried Fruits
Yet another case for my theory on Japanese whisky - don’t feel like retyping yet again so just go read the other reviews I’ve done on Japanese whisky I have tried.
Nothing memorable at all
very smooth a lil too fruity-banana for me
not nice, too much chilli and glue on the palate
fruits (pears, unripe banana), herbs, glue, rubber, alcoholic, vanilla, honey, chilli, brandy/rum, fresh acacia branches
nicer than expected, herbs, spices, chilli, honey, coffee, unpleasant glue, malt
long and very warm in the throat
Sickly, fake flavours. Tastes like foam Bananas
I love hibiki
Complex and light. Very fruity with hints of apples and orange. Very easy to drink with zero alcohol burn and a nice sherried taste on the finish.
smooth sweet aroma, oak after taste
nose is sweet with vanilla
palate is slight oak, not sweet,
finish is dried fruit
tastes like glenlivet 18
my introduction to whiskey, still one of my favorites
This whisky blend was a gift. Only bottles with the word "Scotch" catch me interest. Still, Ill give it a shot. Seems light on the taste, smooth, hint of carmel and some spice at the end. Not the complexity of a single malt. A few more drams are needed. Ill be back with a report soon.
Well ballanced, pretty smooth but not boring at the same time. Caramel and green apple, plus a little bit of spice
Brilliantly smoth japanese wiskey, sorry to see the bottle empty noe.
Saludos whiskylovers!
Easily the best Japanese whiskey in my admittedly meager experience. Very smooth, with a very fruity flavor. In fact, I would have appreciated a bit more bite and some malty goodness. Still, it did convince me that there might yet be hope for whiskies from Japan.
Light, fruity and smooth with no burn. Do not let the light description deter you. A delightful and flavorful experience which felt like a 23 year old whiskey experience and not 12.
Slightly fruity
Complex yet smooth fruit notes
Light finish leaving you wondering what just happened (in a pleasantly surprising kind of way)
Well balanced, fruity, light, ideal to offer it also to non-drinkers, especially women.
Rich fruit, smooth texture, well rounded blend
Blumig, leicht
Keine Schärfe
