It is like biting into a wooden barrel and then swallowing that same wooden barrel.
decent burbon
It’s got some ass
Strong vanilla and burnt brown sugar
Light sweet turns immediately to a heavy charred wood and then kind of mellows
Wood and peppery
Not complex
oak taste
medium
smoother than I expected. Sweet to the nose. Nice oak, mellow heat, nice long woody finish. Flavor gets tired on the tongue for an everyday sipper though. Good as mixer to keep things interesting.
Not great. Tons of sweet oak, peanuts, cinnamon, and fruit. It’s not super complex, and comes across too hot for the age. There are better Jim Beam bottles out there around this price.
smells nice, taste little sweet nice
I was disappointed. It is just too smoky and hot.
taste test 2 for the night. very dissapointed
Suprisingly not much on the nose..light oak and very hidden in the back some spice
Wow..nice spice hit and burns on the way down.. totally opposite of nose, heavy oak, spice and vanilla undertones. not complex though
finish is very weak... not much lingers.
Cinnamon and corn mash on the nose, molasses and vanilla on the palate, medium spicy finish.
smells woody. slightly sweet vanilla flavor followed by spice
Smells like it'll bite!
Drinks like Jack
If I decide that Jim Beam is what I'm drinking, it will only be Devil's Cut.
Ok sipper. Good flavor up front but finishes poorly... had an odd, bitter aftertaste that makes me think the flavor profile is derived from extracts
Sweet wood, cinnamon
Sweet, pepper, bit of cherry, cinnamon, vanilla
Cherry Coke, turns bitter, charred oak
vanilla flavors with a bit of a spice on the back. Nice on tje nose with some oak. much better than standard Jim Beam. a reasonable cost daily drink
Sweet with a spice finish. Nice bourbon for a beginner like me.
Heavy oak and vanilla on the nose. Taste is sweet, spicy, and a little smoky. Finish is fairly harsh and burns on the backend. Not bad for the price but the finish for only 45 abv is not that pleasant. Beam-Suntory has much better offerings.
Lots of flavor! Surprisingly spicy. Not like a high rye spice but something else... Has a nice texture to it. Pleasantly surprised!
Rich and spicy, full-figured. A pleasant surprise.
It's okay, but it's a bit strong for my tastes
July Whiskey. Walk through the early harvest with strong tannin acids giving way to Cascades of generous honey soaked cedar
Salted cedar wood
8 minutes airtime
Frozen copper guild
Drenching rye grass medium burn, salted Carmel, dark chocolate, dry, Sauvignon blanc, Heather, dark cherry, cedarwood
Honey almond
8 minutes ride
Stronge, robust, full flavor. Ample taste of smoke and oak. Although, not for everybody, its definately one of my favorites.
Oakie and smokey.
Oak and charcoal.
Oakie and charred.
Hot, burns all the way down. Slight chocolate and vanilla notes.
Full bodied taste, strong taste of smoky oak. Warm and smooth.
It definitely has the wood which I normally enjoy but it's too much, too harsh. Only good for a mixer and you might as well get the white label if that is your intent.
nice one. more woody and fullbodied than original one
hot. good mixed. nice kick
Incredible value for money. Sweet oak flavours, charred barrel notes
Charred oak and a slight alcohol burn.
Raw dark oak flavours. Absolutely beautiful and for the price it's incredible value for money
Camp fire and a slight alcohol burn. Absolutely beautiful!
I was skeptical at first. After a couple of Old Fashions, I can appreciate the vanilla flavors, and drinkability.
strong!
ideal for long nights nad party
Great sipping whiskey. I'm not Big fan of Jim Beam in general, too sweet, but this is a winner.
Hot vanilla and baking spices? Devil's Cut has plenty of both.
Firewater! I prefer over white label. Fiery, but less bitter.
A good everyday drinking Bourbon
All burn and vanilla.
Harsh. just get Jim Beam.
Very nice bourbon, better than the JB white label. Good sipping whiskey.
Nice bourbon for the price. I like the spice kick it has. Has the typical bourbon notes. I would suggest having a bottle on your self.
in comparison to jb's extra aged this is a very good bourbon/whiskey. a little more of a bite also spicier but still has that really smooth finish. i will purchase again. on a side note rough rider still is my favorite.
Very woody.
