Very pleasant rye, on the sweeter side with vanilla, caramel and interesting herbal notes.
A little bit of grain alcohol flavor, but pretty good.
more grain alcohol taste but not bad
Easy drinking rye, especially for the price
Has a medium rye bite. bit of Carmel and oak to start and finishes with the rye bite.
Mild and carmel
Carmel and oak with rye bite
spicy
A decent rye for the money. Not great, not bad either.
not deep in flavor. plenty of rough spice. it mixed into a Sazerac ok if you go heavy in the bitters to add to its flavor profile. I might buy it again in a pinch or when confronted with no better offerings
great rye, makes an outstanding old fashioned
In my opinion, the best rye on the market at this price range. Nice spicy nose and long finish. I like it neat but also holds up well in an old fashioned or Manhattan. This is essentially Bulliett Rye that has been charcoal filtered, resulting in a slightly smoother finish
not for me, all rye aggression with no flavor backing it up
has a plastic with woody cherry fruit, rough, tingles the lips.
