Very nice, smooth.
tastes and smells like a little bit like a more intensive version of standard Jameson. Very pleasant and easy to drink, though not that special.
It's different from the original Jameson, but it didn't went far away.

Jameson Black Barrel, a very good twist on the usual Jameson.
The barrels are chard on the inside which in turn gives the whiskey it's darker shade of amber. Not only does this affect the colour it also affects the flavour.
The whiskey is clean, with pleanty of rich dark oak spice and good whack of apple/pear mixed with burnt sugar.
The mouth feel is lovely and smooth it coats the palate like cream or butter.
Black Barrel used to be about €50 but in recent years the price has fallen. You can usually find it in and around the €40 to €45 mark now. Well worth a purchase, fantastic whiskey.
Floral , dark spiced oak and caramel.
Smooth, with apple/pears lashings of burnt sugar and rich oak.
Buttery and nutty with nice sweet finish.
a little bit stronger taste than the regular. still has the smooth sweet taste of regular jameson
ok.
