A good whiskey
Gentle, fragrant and care required...
Patience is needed on this one. It takes a while for the nose to bring much of anything other than an initial sweetness. Then, molasses unsurprisingly and then the rum influence brings raisins and... well, a light, almost airy rum baba scent. Does the rum cask work? A bit initially and then pretty well, and a big 'thumbs up' for trying something different. Perhaps, not quite stellar yet... Interestingly, my wife finds strawberries and then something slightly floral right at the tail-end of the nosing... Maybe more to come.
Inital spice and molasses again and more sweet sugariness coming from the signature Teeling sweet taste and then from the rum casks, which have a bigger influence on the palate. On successive tastings, the rum influence grows until there's really not much else, but perhaps that was the point: to make a straightforward high-quality, smooth whiskey that merges into rum. Job done.
Longish with the sugars holding and no bitterness or dryness at all. A satisfying steady end (with a little chocolate and vanilla pod coming through at the close) to a very decent whiskey for my 100th tasted...
Taste Teeling
Powerful, balanced, delicious
It's actually hard to describe, it accelerates just before you work it out.
Bittersweet, well composed. Rum is not overpowering, bitter again near the end. Very interesting whisky.
Long, nice burn, bitter.
Light and smooth with a fruity, rum hint.
W zapachu aceton i trochę wanilii. W smaku metaliczna, czerwone jabłka, dąb, rum. Czuć rumowe beczki. Niesmaczna.

Sharp, one dimensional, quite medicinal... almost no finish
A nice affordable Irish Whiskey that isn't Jameson, and it's much better. But for the price and range I would go Bushmills 10 over this.
First up, It smells thin. The Rum Cask influence is definitely noticeable, but it smells like a light underproof Rum. Some shininess, and a little fruit appears as it starts to settle down. Metallic, strong vanilla cream and shortbread with a nice Ripe fruit mustiness, also felt tip pen.
No where near as thin as the nose or as shiny. Sweet fruits and a little vanilla arrive first but only briefly as it quickly builds in intensity to a spicey and almost harsh bitterness. Dark cocao, unripe banana and Salt. Then it starts to settle
A little watery, salty, biscuits and harsh Rum. But it does have a long drawn out finish of wood, dark dark chocolate and cream. It leaves a metallic, bitter note in the mouth.
This is a small batch Irish Whiskey that is aged in rum casks. 46%Abv. Ive had this in the past but I wasn't a big fan, lets see if thats changed.
This is good and has been redeemed in my eyes. The rum adds some nice textures that makes it different from the rest of Irish Whiskey. Definitely worth the pick-up.
Rating: 75/100, +/- 0 for value price is justified, and is available everywhere, Final:75/100.
You can definitely smell the Rum influence.
Pineapple, apple, mangoes, coconut, honey, gingerbread, maltiness, pear, vanilla.
apple, pineapple, gingerbread, coconut, maltiness, milk chocolate, Graham crackers, pears, and honey.
pineapple, pear, Graham crackers, honey.
Nice and sweet
The alcohol is fairly strong on the nose and to taste.
solide
Bin wohl kein Fan vom Rum. Sehr kräftiger Ire.
hele zachte whisky
zoet
zowt, zacht en kruidig
medium
Nice whiskey, but way too sweet for my taste.
Easy dram. I really love the rum flavor. Had to buy the new West cork rum finish.
There is something going on with the Irish..
delicate with honey, carmel sweet but light. has cinnamon, light pepper, herbal and some black tea notes medium finish.
Lemon. Young and aggresive at 46 abv. More like scotch at taste. The rum finish is quite clear. Relatively balanced

A good easy to drink day to day whiskey, something you dont mind sharing with everyone.
Fair, rounded. Easy drinker, but lacking that certain special something of taste characteristica
Mild, almost floral
Round, sherry
Dissipates quickly, but oily oak or wood remains for a while
too aggresive, not much flavour
A bit reserved and hot. There is caramel but behind the heat of the alcohol. Its is "grain and malt whiskey, initially aged in ex-bourbon casks for up to 6 years, and then married together for more than 6 months in ex-rum cask from Central America" a bit unbalanced between the grain and the malt. Would not be my go to. RRP€39
Hints of rum wood.
Hotter than its 46% but that might be the grain. Some caramel but struggling a bit behind the spice.
Long hot and tingly.
been looking for a Teeling for a while...did not dissapoint at all.
apple and oak
fruit to spice
spicey finish that left a slight tingle on the tongue
overall ok, but slighlty sweet
rum, raisin, spices
creamy vanilla. slight spicy
short, but slighly sweet
Very basic. Not smooth but not hard either.
lekker
Slight vanilla, heavy on the sugary rum. But the flavors and smells are too soft to compete with the heavy ethanol punch. For only 46% it feels rough.
Sweet, rum.
It is the best irish whisky i have tried, and sensebly priced
Mild vanilla aromas with a nice warmth and sweetness from the rhum on the pallet.. Quite pleasant.
Aromatas - šokoladas, karamelė. Skonis neišreikštas, poskonis - kriaušė, persikas ir dar kažkas vaisinio ))
very subtle easy to drink whiskey
slight vanilla and fruits coming through lovely warm aftertaste in mouth definitely recommend
nothing special but a bit better than their single malt one
oaky vanilla citrus nose. medium burn with citrus and vanilla notes, vanilla and oak linger on the tongue
Smooth, sweet and fruity
Oke. Warme afdronk
Basic but decent. Vigorous taste of fruits, citrus and spice. Could have been a little softer on the palate but it will do.
citrus, spice
fruit, spice
spice, hot
Kryddig men ändå väldigt mild. Ingen rökighet och ganska söt.
Medellång eftersmak av rom.
sweet, spice, rum
Fresh citrus with slight note of dried fruit on the nose, followed by faint damp foliage under marshmallow. Sweet cream with slight citrus on the tongue accompanied by spicy notes which quickly assert dominance, lingering for long minutes on the tongue afterwards with hints of the sweet lemon hiding beneath.
lighter smooth taste , enjoyable
very sweet
a surprising good whiskey with a hint of wood and summery fruits on the nose.
pleasant whiskey for being in company
Sweet and herbal with a touch of vanilla. Pleasant and easy drinking, but lacks complex flavors and seems almost to delicate.
sweet with a hint of vanilla
Very pleasant taste, a subtle touch of vanilla that gives a bit of sweetness. Light to drink yet very enjoyable to just sip.
Super light. Barely any burn, barely any Irish lemon flavor. Very simple, but pleasant taste.
Note de vanille, très bon whisky
Light vanilla flavor with caramel
with rum notes. Doesn't stand out.
oily sweet on the nose
little caramel spice to taste with a little burn
great sippin whiskEy (e cause it's Irish)
fairly smooth. nice flavors with butter and spice
sweet vanilla with buttered shortbread biscuit, smoothly moved into light spice and rum, relatively short finish and low oil
as with most irish stuff this is to smooth for me. sweet and well balanced but also a little boring.
A keeper, the slight rum taste is nice
nice sugar on the nose, a little spice. then big vanilla and fruit on the palate. a lovely spicy aftertaste then to finish! very long lasting!
ok
Very good, delicious
A crossover between Irish smoothness and Caribbean sweetness. The rum flavours are more upfront here than in any other rum finished whisky I've tasted thus far. Excellent price / quality.
The rum finish is obvious. Vanilla, white grapes, green apples and a touch of cinnamon. Fresh and slightly zesty.
Nice, creamy mouthfeel. Rum 'n raisins, vanilla, dark Honey, brown sugar coated almonds. Smooth. Juicy toffee.
Sweet, green apples with a woody edge. Again with prominent rum flavours.
