Its fine. This is one of the more common whiskeys at pubs and stores. If one does not specify which whiskey they like in their whiskey and coke, this is probably the whiskey thats poured into their glas. The whiskey is perfect as a mixer as the taste does not compromise any other flavours that go into a mix. Other than that, I would not drink it purely. This whiskey simply does not give the sensation that many other whiskeys can give.
