First Johnnie Walker i've tasted. Not a big fan but will probably try the blue label because I'm curious of comparing a bolder Walker taste. To the Nose : Starts with a strong raisin and dry fruit smell, after first nose, vanilla stays in nose. After smelling, I can imagine a flavor of a smoky raisin.
To the palat : Smoky leathery vanilla first hits the pallat to then feal a peppery sensation and finish with a bit of vanilla.
After taste : pepperry feeling stays with vanilla staying for a couple of seconds.

Nose

It is drinkable whisky but it is not pleasant when you drink it alone. You can find better choice for this price. It is perfect if you like smoky drinks and I would recommend it to drink as part of drink or mixed.

A little bit smoky, alcoholic but also sweet. You can feel dryness from grain spirit. It smells ok but too strong for me

Smoky character, quite intensive and alcoholic. Not too complex. It’s not young whisky but for sure not best quality. It’s just not tasty and to grainy.

Если честно, я не особо трепетно отношусь к блендам. Мне очень много нравится блендов, но все-таки как-то к односолодовым, естественно, душа лежит больше. Поэтому Пешехода я всегда обходил стороной... уж больно Красный пешеход, единственный который я пробовал из них, мне не понравился. Так что если подворачивался бленд, то я больше смотрел в сторону ирландцев, Балантайнса или Чиваса.
Черненького мне подарили, так что выбора не было и я его открыл....
Я был очень удивлен... когда просто налив, почувствовал очень прияиный аромат. По комнате сразу поплыл очень прияиный яблочно-грушевый аромат. Чем-то это мне напомнило запах лимонада дюшес из детства. Засунув нос в стакан, сразу чувствуешь торфянность и дымность, аромат ванили и чего-то фруктового с явным уклоном в цитрусовые. Убрав нос, продолжаешь ощущать дюшес со специями.
Вкус одной стороны разнообразный и может быть не сильно впечатляющий, но точно очень приятный и круглый. Виски мягкий. Сразу яблоки, груша и ваниль и все это на фоне лыма, солода, цитруса и пряностей. Очень интересный вкус, который, кстати, продолжает и дальше раскрываться. Несмотря на бленд, зерна я вообще не почувствовал. А этот первый вкус лимонада с дымком просто поразил.
Послевкусие среднее, но тоже приятное, а главное очень разнообразное, начиная с дуба и торфа, ванили и ирисок, заканчивая цитрусом, специями и дубом.
Подытоживая, могу сказать, что Черный пешеход реально меня удивил, не ожидал такого точно. Очень приятный бленд, и пока для меня самый лучший среди них в категории до 12-ти лет.
Есть четкое теперь желание попробовать и другие цвета!

After reading many reviews, some bad, most great, I finally purchased a bottle. From the minute I cracked the bottle, I was very happy. The smell of campfire smoke, the tawny color, the mouthfeel, etc was all very pleasing to me.

Nose

Campfire smoke, but not over powering. Smooth in the sense of not over powering alcohol. Sweet or vanilla creaminess at the end.

Palate

To me this is the perfect taste of smoke. Like the nose though, it comes across to me as more of a wood smoke (campfire), and not so much a peated smoke. Leaving it in my mouth for at least 10 seconds, and taking a breath in while it is resting on my tongue, brings out the vanilla creaminess or almost toffee on the tip of my tongue.

Very smooth with the smoke and notes of toffee and cream lingering behind for a while.
