General description
Another step in the Johnnie Walker ladder
Nose
This claims to have whiskey from the Clynelish distillery but I would say the vintage is such that it is barely perceptible. Very gentle nose, smooth for lack of a better word. Golden honey, stone fruit, apples. Smells like a fresh fall day
Palate
The malts are well blended with the highlands coming to the forefront. Heather and/or leather, possibly a smoked peach or apricot, smoke is very faint, all the barrel notes are in the back with a warming spiciness
Finish
It coats the roof of the mouth well gently warming and tingly the senses. Light fruit and honey, barrel notes coming through as well. Very enjoyable
