Mild on the nose with some sweetness. Somewhat syrupy on the tongue with a lingering mouthfeel of spices and rye. A good representation of a Bourbon
used for whiskey sour. did great.
awesome quality for the money. Great for highballs too
cinnamon. vanilla. sweet. honey and cloves.
cloves. cinnamon.
cinnamon and honey. some heat even though it's 40%. I wonder and fear of a diabetic coma... it's sweet
sweet and spicy aftertaste. pleasant.
Smells of burnt cane sugar but in a good way. On the tongue it tastes sweet and an after taste of roasted coconut.
For the price, very nice.
great bargain for the taste
Floral tones on the nose with a hint of banana. Thinner mouth feel compared to their small batch. Carmel and vanilla with a medium finish.
im not disappointed nor happy
tasty something I would drink again for the price I like it.
Refreshing pour at a great price. Flavors are fairly muted compared to the higher priced expressions but I picked up notes of sweet rye spice, caramel, vanilla, delicate fruit.
Fruity rye spice, soft caramel and vanilla, dark fruit (blueberry?)
Light mouth feel, smooth, refreshing sweetness
A bit of rye spice lingers, leather, wood tannins
sweet caramel nose with some good spice. light on the palate. nice medium length finish. overall better than I expected. bought it as a mixer but it works neat as well.
very sweet on the nose and the pallet. more bite than I anticipated. very good well rounded for its price.
Tasty, more better than the Jim Beam White
Fresh, fruity, crisp oak, coconut, mint, vanilla, cinnamon.
Sweet spices, caramel, creamy vanilla, mint.
Long, spices, ginger, oak, mint, good.
clearly the least good of the generally quality four roses line
Not a fan. Alcohol-forward, weak finish. Better lower priced bourbons available, such as Jim Beam
vanilla caramel typical bourbon nose with alcohol forward. taste is pale and muted oak caramel vanilla. short finish with lingering sweet notes
vanilla caramel
oak woods vanilla
short
good sweet Bourbon
Cheap sweet bourbon which is good for mixing.
More of a mixer than the other Four Roses releases. Sweet nose with vanilla, the corn comes through in the taste along with oak and orange peel, a little heat in the short finish
Little more burn then I like. Yes a very good mixer
Not terribly compact but a good sipping whiskey. Let it sit a while and develop and you’ll more likely to get a little bit more nuance then straight from the pour.
Not really a whiskey to drink neat but pretty good on the rocks or mixed. Definitely the best cheap bourbon, I can get it for $20 near me
great whisky bang for the buck
Not too bad, as a mixer. Not a sipping whiskey, though.
Well balanced and smooth
citrus (orange), toffee, hint caramel note and toasty oak
citrus,winter space, honey, vanilla
medium with lovely oaken sweetness
the go to whiskey
