Mild on the nose with some sweetness. Somewhat syrupy on the tongue with a lingering mouthfeel of spices and rye. A good representation of a Bourbon

cloves. cinnamon.
Palate
cinnamon and honey. some heat even though it's 40%. I wonder and fear of a diabetic coma... it's sweet
Finish
sweet and spicy aftertaste. pleasant.

Refreshing pour at a great price. Flavors are fairly muted compared to the higher priced expressions but I picked up notes of sweet rye spice, caramel, vanilla, delicate fruit.
Nose
Fruity rye spice, soft caramel and vanilla, dark fruit (blueberry?)
Palate
Light mouth feel, smooth, refreshing sweetness
Finish
A bit of rye spice lingers, leather, wood tannins

sweet caramel nose with some good spice. light on the palate. nice medium length finish. overall better than I expected. bought it as a mixer but it works neat as well.

Not terribly compact but a good sipping whiskey. Let it sit a while and develop and you’ll more likely to get a little bit more nuance then straight from the pour.
