Smooth texture, harsh finish. Hints of vanilla and blossoms
Lethaly smooth, very drinkable.
Floral and light. Lots of fruit, but thinner body. Great nose and palate.
very nice in the nose, flowers and fruits supported by the Mizunara. light fruits in the taste going to vanilla and blueberries.
fruits, flower and the smell of wood. (Mizunara)
lightly oak and lots of fruits
vanilla and vanilla with red fruits
Yamazaki Distiller's Reserve comes in at a great price point for the quality. Red fruits, oak and peace flavours come through.
Fruity and floral
Red fruits, oak peach
Medium finish with vanilla
Smooth but watery
Complex and subtle. Classic Japanese style whiskey.
i found this quite watery.
nice whiskey but rather expensive
Despite my admittedly limited experience with Japanese whiskies, I have to say I found this one remarkably pleasurable. Far too pricey to become a fixture in my cabinet, though.
