Nose: Honey, toffee, and a bit of peat
Palate: Sweet and coats the palate. Tree bark and citrus
Finish: Peat and char
Overall: Not a huge fan of peat but was still enjoyable, easy to drink, and has some nice depth.

Elegant offer from JW, big maltiness presence, floral, spicy and a nice and soft background smokiness. A true classic.

Definitely better than the red label (duh). It has a much deeper flavour palette. Smells of casks. When u put ur nose too close to the glass you will feel a sharp burning pain. That's at least how a whiskey should be. Johnnie Walker's black is a good whiskey for its price, and I would definitely buy it again. This one is good to drink purely, whereas the red label is better used to mix ur drinks with. This is not one to drink "on the rocks" either. Save ur ice cubes for the red label.

My go to work horse. A good value considering cost verses quality and available most everywhere. Smooth and brings a good blend of diverse Scotch flavors.
