Ben Nevis Distillery is named after its location - in Fort William, at the base of Ben Nevis, the highest mountain of Great Britain. Ben Nevis produces a 10 Year Old, a 16 year Old and a 21 Years Old whisky. Ben Nevis was founded in 1825 and was acquired by the Japanese company Nikka in 1989.
