nutty and brown sugar
Nose of baking spices and red licorice. Mouthfeel was dry but mouth coating. Flavor profile was spicy with notes of caramel. Finish was steady and long lasting. Overall, tannic but satisfying.
Nice nose and flavor. Spicey on the finish.
Good stuff. Sweetish, a bit funky
Good expression, did not know what to expect but pleasantly surprised. Nice flavor, high proof lends itself to a little water to bring out the full experience.
Cherry bomb! Very sweet, bold, and cherry forward. Flavor reminds me of cherry cobbler, and has a pleasant heat that builds with a nice bite. Notes of vanilla, brown sugar, cinnamon, smoke at the end with some sweet oak. Damn good bourbon.
Cherry syrup, sweet toasted wood, vanilla, baked cherry pie, dark brown sugar
Cherry cobbler, building heat, bold flavor, medium-full mouth feel, nice bite, cinnamon,
Smokey, oak, dark fruits, aftertaste of fruit juice (fruit punch?)
Good, great flavor for Old Fashion.
Al ABC Barrel pick, above avg bourbon but better bourbons for the money imho
Alcohol
Anise, cinnamon, and brown sugar
Bread, oak alcohol
Excellent offering from Wild Turkey. Wild Turkey 101 is a bargain for a nice 101 proofer, but this SiB is on another plane of goodness. Although at highrt 110 proof, it's gotten rid of some of the rougher spices of WT 101, now smoother and more complex at same time. Lots of caramel and toffee balanced by flavorful spice and burn. Great sipper.
Great Bourbon! Very complex and flavorful. Extremely smooth even with the high ABV. Great neat. However, a splash of water opens up sweetness and cuts down the alcohol without tamping down the other flavors. Right much better than the 10 yr reserve. Even with 10 years in the barrel, it can't match the Single Barrel. It's less than $60 in NC on sale and worth every penny. Welcome to the Top Shelf!
delicious, spicy and rich. heat. long finish

Had it on the rocks. Very smooth
Nice! Lots of flavor. This is a nice sipping whiskey.
Good, solid bourbon.
Strong nose and bite. Hints of vanilla and caramel overwhelmed by oak and alcohol.
One of the more underwhelming single barrels I've had
cherry up front. medium oak finish. Sweet. vanilla caramel. Good bottle.
good. towards the top of my favorites
cherry, okay, sweet, stong
Didn't think I would like it as much as I did.
