Has quite a sweet caramel taste backed up with dried fruit, vanilla and a hint of peaty smoke; quality dram.
I am really enjoying this. I think it's the deep charred cask finish that makes this so good. Very waxy, oily, and viscous. Absolutely will chase down another one.
caramel. bitter and nice sweet.
A Phenomenal Whiskey, one of the best NAS Whiskys
Strong dried dates, Vanilla and Fresh Figs and a nice creamy oak. A beautiful cinnamon follows some more vanilla and Fresh cucumber. After a while in the glass a nice caramel features.
Strong Vanilla right through the whole mouthful. Fresh Figs follow nicely adjust before the heated lift off a dark date lingers then perched in the middle is a beautiful spicey, oak and heat
As the heat dissipates, a nice sticky date and butterscotch lingers. A soft smoke Whisps away and a beautiful sweet cucumber water lingers
Herbal nose with wood and sweet/caramel.
Alcohol on the forefront, but not just sharp, it is accompanied by flavors. Wood, with little bitterness. And mint later.
Very good. Wonderful toasted notes. Complex, a bit fruity, really cool brown sugar vanilla notes in this scotch
long finish. Milk chocolate. Cherry.. almonds. smooth.
Wunderbarer Whisky: sehr komplex. Mit etwas Wasser noch besser. Süß, kräutrig, etwas Salz. Ist jeden Cent wert!
Big alcohol hit and a little oaky. Not as nice as the double cask.
First try at a bottle from this region. Love the chocolate finish. Will definitely buy.
Zesty nose, rich palate, pleasing spiciness
Powerfull and rich, complex and has characteristic Cambeltown, old warehouse malt taste,it's remind me of Springbank 15.Dark and sweet and bit smoky, excellent whisky.
Nose is medicinal with scents from orange zest and herb spice. Palate provides a slight spicy kick and a very pleasant bitter dark chocolate finish. Nice but for the price I prefer Glen Scotia's Double Cask.
Quite full bodied; blackened barrel additions to complexity. But, somewhat sweet
Over priced, definitely sweetened with caramel.
Very expensive compared to my usual choice of single-malts, but well worth it if you can afford it. Perhaps one of my personal top ten whiskys.
