Przyjemny, z delikatną nutą ciemnego piwa.
A great addition to Jameson range, already on my second bottle. Tastes like classic Jameson but with a more rounded taste but more creamy and chocolatey tast
fruity and creamy
Well rounded with cream and chocolate
72/100
Caramel, toffee, coffee, oak, vanilla, milk chocolate, dark chocolate, cocoa oily, honey, green apple, creamy, hops, cinnamon, cocoa, roasted grains, malt, oatmeal, hazelnut, delicate, bitter, tannins, butterscotch
Green apple. Cinnamon. Lime zest and spice
on the tongue.
Stout notes gave this whisky a very pleasant finish of coffee and chocolate. Brilliant!
Imagine a coffee and stout and whiskey flavoured dessert without it being a form of icecream. This good of a taste this far from your usual whiskies for this price I'll have little to no doubt to buy again.
There is so much here. Coffee, malt, citrusflavoured candy, cocoa and then in lighter notes some honey, brown sugar.
Just your medium thickness mouthfeel. Cocoa, coffee, malt, honey, cinnamon and citrus.
Short to medium with a lot of mocha, bitter cocoa with some cinnamon.
my favorite Jameson expression. the dark chocolate undertones of stout come through for me on this one.
Jameson, but if it invited you over for a beer.
Very friendly. but for some reason I generally don't want more than one
vanilla, Carmel,
shortbread cookie, vanilla, wood
vanilla, stout beer, cherry
Not better than the regular Jameson to me.
I like this experiment with beer casks. More interesting whiskey than regular Jameson, less spicyness in comparison. Creamy taste of chocolate and toffee. Aftertaste with stout beer influence. Good balanced, I really like it, good job Jameson!
I tasted this blind along with four other Irish pours. This was next to last. The IPA finished seemed very flat with very little of anything. This Stout finished had more personality and more flavors. Some of these flavors I didn't care for, but there was at least something to taste and analyze. Not bad, but I would not waste time or resources drinking either of these.
N - Light acetone, light baking spice.
P - Sour apples, spicy heat, licorice candy, with a bit of butternut.
F - Short and a bit harsh with some off-notes.
The aroma is a dark, burnt cookie bottom. The stout malts manifest themselves as a alternately dry and oily: there is some nutty, toffee nose, and some charcoal; but it also contains an imperial stout richness, that have an oily plum, cherry and raisin. The oiliness has a fusel, gasoline component that is not subtle. It's an off-aroma, like paint-thinner or a black magic marker.
The first taste is deep molasses: it's sweet like a buttery toffee cookie, and that burnt cookie malt adds a bitter balance. That said, the brown sugar is dominant, and it just tastes a little processed. The sugars are pungently sweet like a creme brulee. It would pair beautifully with a darker dessert, actually, because the sweetness dominates.
The finish is more of that bitter cookie bottom: dark and chalky, but then there is some plum and date, then an ashy tobacco end.
I like the idea of this whiskey: the barrel's effects are very noticeable. But that said, I'm not sure it's entirely successful. It's neither fish nor fowl: it's not a satisfying stout experience, and it's not balanced enough to be a satisfying Irish whiskey. A pour is enough, a bottle, for me, is too much.
great on ice really brings out the flavor.
Honey, chocolate, and citrus with lots of malt on the nose. Very reminiscent of a good stout beer. No major burn on the palate. Citrus, honey and malt carry through on the palate, along some slight spice and notes of fruit (cant quite put my finger on specifics here). Enjoyable an easy drinker.
The easiest to drink whiskey that i have had. And even then it offers some different notes like coffee and like a sweet beer malt. Just a great whiskey to share with someone.
I don’t get why this isn’t more highly reviewed. This is absolutely my best daily drinker or first dram. It’s smooth and fantastic for its price range, consistent and leaves you clear headed. Love this whiskey.
Slightly more depth than the IPA, went down real easy. Good budget bottle of Irish.
Awesome whiskey for sipping. I'm not a big beer fan so I was skeptical, but I didn't get any taste of hops so I was happy.
sweet, vanilla, floral
sweet, vanilla, apple peel, floral
smooth and dry with no burn
Welcome to Ireland home of God's two greatest elixirs, whisky and stout beer. Don't have time for both well here the tried best thing God created... the first two put together!
Classic Jameson with some hops
Light fruit, sweet, touch of hops
Tastes just like regular Jameson and 1/2 way through you get that heavyish creamy stout
Stout and barrel on the finish
Slightly sweet. Coffee/Chocolate flavours.
Kremowa, czekoladowa, miła w obejściu. Lekko kleista.
Nice and light, creamy texture from the stout barrels followed by a finish similar to the standard Jameson
Nice, smooth. Easy drinking. I didnt get much that reminded me of stouts or any beer for that matter. Need to try more.
A step up on. classic Irish whiskey, finishes in stout casks.
stout bitters, vanilla, marshmellow, coffee
stout bitter, smooth, spice, sweet, dark chocate
dark chocolate, finish is medium and mildly bitter like a stout.
Definitely a step in a different direction from the usual Jamesons. like most of there caskmates series this is a definate recomentation.
Warm spices, stewed apples and pears. well rounded. Has the natural characteristic of jamesons, soft vanilla cream.
things get interesting here, very smooth, cocoa bitters, barrel char. not complex but very morish.
medium velvety finish
Outstanding Jameson addition.
Stout, little caramel and coffee and cocoa/chocolate. Maybe raisins. Pear tones with apple.
Fruit/citrus continues, blackcurrant and light cocoa/coffee notes.
Slight dryness with sustained fruit tones on palate.
Dark and smooth. Very easy to drink
sweet citrus notes, chocolate and honey
Jameson with notes of coffee
Pretty harsh on the tounge, hints of coco, nuts, and oak.
Burnt oak, vanilla, rasted coco, slight caramel
Salted almonds, hard caramel, hops, chocolate covered oak
Tingly, chocolate,
Leichter sanfter Whisky. Leicht malzig, karamellig und Hauch Schokolade
Vanille, Karamell und leicht alkohol
Vanille, Karamell und schokoladig
wärmt hinter der Zunge
Jameson with a twist. I dig it. Light and smooth. Awesome in coffee.
Sitting under and oak tree holding a cup of black coffee with a splash of Jameson snuck in when no one was looking.
Oak, light roast coffee, and dark beer.
Smooth. almost disappears too quickly
Close in taste to basic Jameson but add more citrus, chocolate, caramel, and a bit of stout taste in the finish. Heavy mouth feel; very pleasant to roll around.
citrus and caramel
More caramel, some chocolate, and spice. Oily mouth feel
Stout, sugar, and alcohol. Very little gets to my sinuses.
faint smoke and coffee on the nose, very smooth and malty on the palate, sweet short finish
smooth chocolate
Sweet easy drinking whiskey.a bit more smell and taste in comparison with the regular jameson.nice dram
sweet,herbs,spicey,oakines fruity
watery mouthfeel followed by spiciness, vanilla, coffee, sweetness, oak, and some bitterness
spicey and sweet
Nice flavor with a twist from regular Jameson's.
smooth and sweet
light and fruity,
fruity and smooth, light sweet spiceness
round and smooth, sweet
Smooth, sweet, first Irish. Can pick up some chocolate
nice taste
very sweet and smooth. Perfect for a beer lover getting into whiskey. Nice aroma after breathing for a few minutes and very nice for sipping.
A step above regular Jameson. A little sweet on the aroma and flavor but goes down fairly easy and a hearty addition to morning coffee.
very sweet with pronounced barrel hints. My favorite Scotch.
Great whisky, at first I could not smell anything or taste for that matter. After 5 minutes of breathing it opened up a lot! You could clearly smell chocolate, porter beer, very sweet and vibrant smell. Also very sweet on pallet, hint of dark beer, coffee and chocolate. Incredible sweet! For price a lot better than original. Advice is, if you can't really taste those notes, let it breathe for some time, enjoy!
Sweet and easy. Worlds better than standard Jameson.
Yummy!
Strong
fuck yes you beautiful bitch.
good every day whiskey
Smooth, creamy, with vanilla and chocolate. it's simple, but likeable enough.
it's a good variation on Jameson the stir aging provides enough of a flavor difference
Was very smooth, personally the 'stoutness' wasn't dominate but I don't say that in a negative way. It's subtle but distinguishable. Will 100% place it as my top choice when it comes to jameson.
Soft start, sweet, chocolate, nice finish
Semi smooth, little kick to the finish
Recommend to coffee /chocolate lovers. Friendliness of Jameson original with the influence of stout brew at a very affordable price point.
Very sweet and smooth.
caramel and green herbs, little woody smell. with water start to be more fruity apples, pears, something similar to glenfiddich.
taste is fruity, sweet but too short. quickly become sharply alcoholic. finish is nice like green apple and bit hoppy. not the best one but really interesting and unusual
Easy to drink for first timer. With ice and a touch of soda.
sweet in a toffe kinda way and smooth. very soft.
zoet, citrus, bloemen
citrus, bloemen, bourbon
mild, vanille, zoet
zacht, zoet, bourbon
Strong vanilla and toffee flavors. Can taste the hint of bourbon cask too. Very easy drinking and enjoyable. Will buy again.
Toffee vanilla sweetness
Toffee/caramel
Creamy toffee vanilla with a hint of Christmas pudding
Ever so slightly oily and light oak.
Creamy, sweet desert whisky. Tiny hints of smoke.
More flavor than the iPa version but still just okay.
Outstanding taste. Great stout flavors. I always get a good bit of coffee.
good for beer lovers - sweet, hops
pretty strange one. raw taste with stouty notes, very smooth aftertaste. good one
Great value for money, this one. Nice and smooth, very drinkable!
Slight peat, salt, apple
Apple, honey
Warming fruitiness
bon. petit gout de stout.
I expected something more from Jameson. If I should choose again, I would prefer a classic Jameson probably because of sweetness. Maybe it's good idea for this caskmate whisky but for this price I would definitely choose something else even a blend.
Great whisky for the price, easy to drink straight but easily mixed in a good stout beer as well.
Went to a Jameson tasting event and this was, by far, my favorite. The more i get into whiskey, though, the less I enjoy this due to its sweetness
Apple juice, stout, chocolate
Licorice
Coffee, stout, sweet
Great Irish whiskey, improvement over the standard Jameson... very very smooth and oily
This is my absolute favorite Jameson whiskey and favorite whiskey in general. You can taste the coffee undertones while catching a strong but subtle hint of the Stout flavor of a Guinness almost. love this whiskey
definitely an improvement over regular jameson, nicer bite to it! won't set your world on fire but definitely one to have and keep a bottle in the cabinet!
smooth to drink as a first timer starting on a scotch. nice light stout after taste as well.
Better than normal Jameson, but still too bland.
Definitely an improvement on the regular Jameson. But I expected more stout flavor, there was barely any.
Can taste the stout. Great sipper
slight stout flavor, with a definite Jameson aftertaste
Red orange flashed first, then the taste turns a little woody with sweet cupcakes, and only then barrel of stout manifested itself with the taste notes of coffee and crust of rye bread. The smell of milk chocolate is sometimes present in the nasopharynx.
probably my favorite variation of Jameson. the stout adds a little extra complexity without varying too much from the Jameson taste we know and love. if I had to choose to only have one bottle of Jameson, short of the rarer bottles, it would probably be this one.
interesting
fresh, citrus, fruity, hints of vanilla, hints of hops, mint, coffee, cocoa.
sweet, fresh, fruity, apple, hints of ginger, spices, caramel, rye bread.
spices, fruity, ginger.
caramel and fruit to start. Nice stout finish.
caramel on the nose, smooth finish
caramel
easy to drink with a suprising stout taste at the end.
Wonderfully complex Irish Whiskey
Banana, lemon, light, pear
citrus, sweet
great with a Guinness
Starts smooth, stays smooth. Hold on your pallet to catch the flavours... classic scotch with a burst of flavour that holds a subtle charred wood undertone.
Big Jamesone fan but not a fan of the Stout.
My new favorite sipping whiskey! Very smooth with great flavor.
light, tasty.
chocolate, caramel
Bought this since I'm a fan of both stouts and whisky, tried it and was not disappointed at all. Tastes just like what it says on the label.
For a beer lover, this hits the spot. Smooth and sweet like a stout but the warmth of the liquor you're looking for.
Sweet milk, honey, barley wine
Coffee, Sweet honey
light tobacco, bonfire apples
charcoal, campfire
zacht
Nice smooth lighter flavor for me. very good in hot toddies. Always keep one around JIC.
I love Guinness and Whisk(e)y so why not give it a craic. Well here is why. Drink your stout -enjoy. Drink your Whiskey - enjoy - don't put both in your mouth and swizzle expecting a revelation!
Sweet, creamy, smooth
Flowers, solvent, sweet
Sweet, creamy, smooth
Pleasant sweet finish, roasted vanilla creaminess
Sweet and smooth; I can certainly taste a creamy and roasted malt influence from the stout finishing.
Good, not my everyday go-to, but not bad.
citrus, vanilla, chocolate
syrup, sweet, vanilla
honey
Nice for a change, not a daily choice. fruit, vanilla finish. medium body.
Not bad but not something I’ll buy again. Heavy on the chocolate and coffee flavour. Reminds me of Baileys.
It has caramel notes, note too much influence of the stout barrels I feel. Tasty whiskey but Jameson has better options.
beautiful malted bliss
caramel
vanilla like caramel
First time with an Irish and I’m in love. For me the nose is earthy caramel. Taste is a malt? Hoppiness? And sweet with a hint of chocolate. The finish though is amazing. It’s long and slowly turns into chocolate stout. Very good dram indeed.
Earth caramel and malt.
Taste is malty, hoppy, and sweet toward the end with a hint of chocolate.
Very long and pleasing. Flavors morph into what I can only describe as chocolate stout.
love the stout taste, very good product for this price
Not being a big amateur of stouts , i do get too much of this flavour which is to be expected from this blend so not quite a big fan..
taste too much like a stout for me. I am not a fan.
extremely well rounded Bourbon for the price I paid which was 55.00 for a fith..
Kawa, gorzka czekolada, kakao i owoce - taki zestaw słodyczy oferuje nam ten trunek. Ciekawe wykorzystanie beczek daje interesujący efekt.
Sweet,
Sweet, coffee, cocoa, fruity, spice
Coffee, cocoa, spice
smooth, stout flavor is awesome, great with a drop of water
taste of milk chocolate, raisins, pepper, oak honey, and spice, opens up with a drop of water, for the price point it's not bad,
spice, stone fruits
milk chocolate, raisins, oak and spice
oak and dark chocolate
Smooth whiskey, almost creamy. Dark chocolat present that gives you an idea of the stout used in the barrel aging proces.
the stout came very sutil, after a bit I kept smelling black tea on it, it's nice and tasty but I prefer the normal jameson
Stout really comes through. Extremely smooth
Quite an interesting flavour due to the beer barrels. It's cheap, try it.
better than I thought
Amazing whisky for a very low price. Nice, complex flavour with notes of vainilla and hops. Very smooth finish.
Ich find ihn nicht schlecht
Not bad
a nice little complexity to jamesons whiskey. twas tasty.
