[ENG/PL]
It's not a standard light fruity whisky. Mineral note is noticeable. That saltiness is not very strong though. Nice and different. I like it.
[PL]
Przyjemna i inna. Lubię ją.

meh....not great. The 15 is much better
sweet and salty. smooth, sweet salty malt. pretty mellow and easy drinking but tasty and interesting enough.
Nice and accessible speysider.
Rather harsh initially, after some rest - apple, pear, honey and salt
Pretty simple, underwhelming in comparison with the nose
Short-ish, without any significant development. Cinnamon, pepper and some other spices.
Nose:
light, floral, citrus fruits
Pallet:
oily, chocolate, mineral
Finish:
medium long, dry, oaky
Malty, orange peel, caramel, honey earth, chocolate with nuts. Nice oily and sweet on the palate. Finish dry, peppery and chocolatey, short to medium.
salty
Salty and fresh. If you close your eyes and smell you can pretend to be on a cliff on the highlands. Quality price ratio makes him a best buy.
Maritime whisky without peat and smoke.
On the nose: chalk, sea wind, salty breeze and perfume. It’s like walking on the sea shore.
On the palate: smooth malty entry, salty notes, toffee and berries. Light oaky touch in the finish. Very good and interesting malt.
Butterscotch and saltwater. A perfect blend and finish.
Zitrus, salzig, es fehlt etwas die Ausgeglichenheit

A salty, fruity and sweet drinker
Caramel, salt, pear, almonds
Some salt and a lot of fruits like pear and peach.
Finishes with the almonds and some chocolate/coffee notes
Salty start, followed by vanilla, honey and various summer fruits. Smooth, solid, good dram but nothing too extraordinary. It says bourbon and sherry casks, but in my opinion it is at least 80% bourbon.
Complex mix of salty, malty, fruity and sweet and salt. Vanilla/coconut in the nose. Very nice one!
Malt, salt and exotic fruits, vanilla/coconut
Flowery and honey, hints of citruses, slightly salty
Medium lasting, but very nice mix
Light fragrant notes on the nose. Briny seawater and vanilla sweetness on the palate. Drying afterwards. Short linger of vanilla sweetness and brine on the finish.
You can taste the salt a bit and it has a sweet flavor to it.
Salty flavour. Little bit sweet.
Nose: apple, vanilla, nutty, cinnamon
Pallet: sweet and some spice
Finish: oak a little bitter sharpness and drying
Gentle & sweet, nutty spirit on the nose, light body, light colour, oily on the glass with a mild wine & cereal taste, nice medium finish. Not a real favourite for me but its not unpleasant!
Cherry, raspberry, nutty, coconut.
Delicate, dry, nutty.
Medium smooth, but dry finish!

Nice and smooth, with an excellent taste.
nice and sweet, excellent taste, but a bit hot, works great with a little h20 and 20 minutes!!
Excellent choice for beginners looking to broaden their horizons with a slightly more challenging malt that is still interesting enough for intermediate’s wanting a cost effective, delicious whisky that never gets boring!
Sea spray, malt, dried fruit, banana, honey
Nicely salty, classic Highlands style dried fruit. Hint of toffee. Banana
Surprisingly silky after the initial salt. Adding water is arguably a must do. Sweet, lingering and moreish
nice lingering spices with some salt to it.I like it neat.

short to medium
It took me over half the bottle to fully get to terms with this one, as it was all a bit shy, perhaps even a bit boring and underwhelming at first, but my patience was rewarded as it opened up nicely several weeks after opening and a weekly pour. I've tasted better batches of the 12 yo Old Puletney to be honest, but it's by no means a stinker.
Nose

Fruity. Sweet. Light. Not as light as Speyside.
Dark fruits. Chalk. Floral.
Fruity. Sweet. Malty Floral. Not as easy drinking as Speyside.
Sugary. Light.
Harsh on tongue, sweet in mouth, oak&cherry
sweet & mild
Great whisky!
salty, fruity, reminds me a bit of Scapa!
The complexity and excellence of this malt is outstanding for its price point. The nose is probably slightly too sweet for my taste and the salinity is just slightly too heavy, which for me drops this just outside the 90’s. But still an incredible dram nonetheless and for the price, one to keep stocked in the cabinet at all times!
The nose opens with a huge sweet honey influence, which gives way to oak, vanilla and sea air.
On the palate, there’s chocolate and more oak, before the salinity and citrus notes of this whisky really start to open up on the tongue and finally a peppery spice influence develops.
The finish is medium to short, but what it lacks in length is more than compensated by incredible complexity. The citrus really plays out in the finish, with salt staining the tongue. This gives way to chocolate eclair sweetness at the last (almost post finish if you know what I mean).
easy drinking
A lot of salt. Vanila and oak.
More salt, like drinking the sea. Oak again. Not so oily.
A hint of lime and saltiness
Sweet and salty

good
fresh, soft, slightly smoky whiskey with a little bit of fruit and a bit salty in the background. for me, really an every day whiskey, not too complex.

god saltsmak
slightly briny or maybe salty taste that always surprises me. wonderful for the price of around $50
A real favourite with a gentle warmth and a lovely round finish. I don’t taste the salt but I suspect it’s the salt that I like.
Mycket god whisky.
A step more complex than glenfiddich 12/ glenmorangie. Pronounced brine and sea breeze character. Sweet and sour.
very pleasant to the nose and mouth.
Smooth and balanced, with the taste of salt and fruity sweetness

Quite smooth and sweet. Distinctive vanilla taste from oak barrels.
Light and a little salty.
Nice unusual bottle, as I'm s beginner this is a nice softer whisky for my second bottle
salty smell, can definitely pick up spoce
very smooth. perfect for a novice. very dry and brine strong.
long aftertaste
Soft and slightly sweet. With a drop of water some brine shows up in the taste. Nice
A bit too much fruit and banana, but I love the brine! Needs a few drops of filtered water to smooth it out.
tasted like rusty pennies. maybe I got a bad bottle, but this was the worst whisky I've ever had.
Very subtle, a bit malty sweet, but not too strong, nice not too spicey finish.
Very good allrounder.
Nose: cereal, fresh cut grass, sea breeze, ash from an old fire
Palate: toasted mixed nuts, burnt sugar, sesame seeds,
Finish: medium strength, soft oakiness, and with a gentle touch of yeast
Thumbs up!
sweet...subtle
citrus, salty, slight smoke
A nice lite salty but fresh fruity whisky.
My bottle is already open for a few years, that's why I can't give a more precise profile.
It still tastes very fine by me.
80 points.

so smooth and a great one for special occasions. got this on my wedding day. keeps well
Average flavor, very mild compared to whiskys that I usually choose to drink. Probably not one I'll return to in the future.
Nose: fruity sherry / flowery. Taste: oily texture / vanilla / sherry / corny / spicy but not much / a little wood / flowery. Aftertaste: pleasantly oily / easy / a little salty. Nice whisky for a good price (about €35,00)
interesting flavour but quite light
light with iodine and a small grapefruit flavour on a salty soil
round with a fruity taste. quite light.
on a salty iodine.
Très marin et iodé.
thought a little harsh.
very nice and smooth. Not too harsh on the palate
Quite nice
good
