General description

Nice "natural" colour, pale gold/amber. Its a light film on the glass. There's a very refreshing fruity nose, melon, tropical notes ??
Superb palate, the 50% sneaks up & again fruity but light, thin & young; but still full bodied. I like Glenglassaugh!
I enjoy the Revival (3 bottles) & this is just as good but 20% more expensive ???
This is another easy sipper with a medium, fresh, nothing harsh in its finish. Definitely will buy again & really recommend if you enjoy light & fruity, but the 50% is there 👍
Edit: 2 hours later, I added 3 drops 💦 to a small sample & it remained fruity & pleasant, but seemed to lose that fire - the luxury of 50%. It was never rough, yet now its so smooth & well rounded. A tiny dilution made each equal, but different; but try for yourself, both ways. A winner 👍🥇

Nose

Honeydew melon or the skin, mango; its light & needs searching. Vanilla sweet is expected, spirit seems mild!

Palate

Superb, lightish, very warming - a light cereal? But the 50% hits around the mouth!
A sweet dessert wine presents with water!!

Finish

A comfortable medium in length, fresh wood & pleasantly dry. 👍 Nothing harsh, sip all night.

Finish strength: Short
Color: Yellow gold

General description

I was positively surprised with this one. Lack of age is balanced by higher abv making it very pleasant and bit more complex than expected

Nose

Sweet, vanilla

Palate

Again vanilla, not as sweet as expected. Some yellow fruits, spiciness. Clear bourbon cask influence. High abv is not noticable.

Finish

Bit woody, quite short

Another convincing release from reborn Glenglassaugh distillery. Once again, as with Revival and Torfa, being a NAS doesn't affect this malt, nor does its powerful 50% abv. No alcohol edges for this Evolution, instead a warm rounded taste, with lot of vanilla and yellow fruit, clearly brought by the bourbon first fill casks. Not sweet at all, anyway, but quite dry and with a medium/long oaky finish.

Caramel, vanilla, coconut creme and a hint of smoke on the nose, hot entry on the palate with more caramel and vanilla, plus some stone fruit, theses all coninue into the longish finish.
These tastes, scents and sensations seem to morph as I get deeper into this pour and into the second. I think I'm gonna like this scotch even more as I work my way through the bottle.

General description

Typical bourbon cask sweetness on the nose; coconut, pineapple, bubblegum. Very peppery on the palate leaving a harsh, bitter aftertaste that unfortunately lingers for a while.
