The red wine cask influences are strong in this one.
A very smooth and enjoyable dram.
Dry-ish red wine, woody, spices and later on berries
a watery mouthfeel with a sparkling sensation, malty, nutty, sweet spices and vanilla
Red wine, vanilla, a bit dry but not too dry
Vanilla from oak. Some pepper. Biscuit.
Vanilla
Spice, carmel.
Medium
better nose and more flavour than normal GS
Lovely sweet whisky. Well rounded, viscous and oily with no alcohol burn. It's Irish whiskey made in heaven. Could drink it all night
Honey, vanilla, caramel, treacle
Honey, super sweet, viscous, oily, creamy
smooth and no alcohol burn
lovely spicy nose to start, then turns to apples, pears, back to cinnamon and Apple tart. in the mouth it's a spice bomb!! white pepper, black pepper, all spice. With water the orchard fruits come out. more Apple, pears, apricot oddly, then juicy fruits! the chewing gum!! really good long finish, spicy and warming, perfect whiskey!!
First hint is oak with some light red berries, some floral too. Vanilla is still present but finishing is dryer than standard GP. Oak is still quite present.
On the nose, malt and vanilla are prevalent with notes of sweet fruits. The palate has beautiful wine notes. Citrus fruits and green apple remain throughout followed by a peppery note toward the end. Finish is medium long, malty and a rewarding level of vanilla.
Delicate fruity smell.
Sweet, apple in taste.
Starts with sweet nose. finishes with a lighter spice kick than other single pot stills and a shooter finish.
Smooth softly prater
