Sherry, spice, dried fruits
Fragant, lots of fruits
Full and rich, fruits, hints of spice
Gentle warmth
Elegant fragrance, sweet, complex with the classic funk. It's both light and dark. On the palate, mouth coating and mouth watering evolving flavors. Medium to long finish, caramel, bourbon, with some dark funk and slight smokiness.
nose: some peat smoke to start with, followed by some sweetness, vanilla, and even got a hint of English tea
palate: sweet smoke and spices
finish: leather and some lingering smoke
warm smokey goodness. Its spicy, and has a medicinal note that reminds me a little of laphroaig 10, but the oak and vanilla sweetness give it a nice complexity under the smoke. I enjoyed it.
Wonderful, complex, satisfying dram.
Bright pear, green apple, strawberry, cream. Slight funk. Hay, cereal.
Slightly oily, same fruits and cream, sherry spice. Some salt and a bit of lemon. Cabernet?
Spicy with a bit of smoke in the nostrils. Satisfying and delicious.
Super complex whisky with good taste of smoke, peat and fruityness. Need quit some time to air out from the glas.
it's a quit full and rich, it's a note of some kind of creamy frut, exotik fruit, some marzipan with oak and spises. this one need time to ear out it youst gets better and better the longer in the glass(+ - 1hour) amazing 15yr!
Süß. Komplex. Hat eine delikate, spezielle salzig-kräutrige Note. Für mìch ein Top-Whisky, den ich nicht mehr missen will.
Amazing stuff. A must have in your collection. Light and fruity with light peat undertones. So good.
apple. wine. wisp of smoke
sweet fruit. spice cake. cereal. nalt. hint of peat.
tangy. malt. spice
Personally, this was a big let down. The 12 year is an all time favorite of mine. I hope the 15 would be also. For some reason the distillery cut the alcohol back from 56.5 on the 12yr, to 46 on the 15yr. It just seems to loose a lot of the intensity of flavors. I will stay with the 12 year.
hint of peat and nuts, some medical sensations. good
light peat. water really softened it up in a positive way.
spice. grain. peat. thick.
Very smooth whiskey. Very slight hint of peat.
Its very good, but Personally I prefered the 10 yo and 21 yo over the 15 yo.
lovely, buttery and full, floral, sweet but not not cloying
Rich and well rounded dram. Plenty of character, straying somewhat from the typical Campbeltown earthy/herby palate without losing the freshness. Very enjoyable.
A quite crisp fragrance. Fruity sweetness at first. Caramel and toffee. Peat builds.
Quite full and rich. There are notes of creamy fruit salad and more exotic fruit notes. Finishes with a waft of peat and spiced warmth leading into the finish.
Fairly long with a welcoming warmth.
Very poserfull
Wonderful complex and very peaty Springbank that keeps his secret and changes a lot.
Warm woodsmoke, vanilla, sea wind, salty sweet, blueberry jumping in, hints of marzipan.
Woody and deliciously smoky, fruity side but also a leathery, dusty, woody side. Roasted walnuts.
Medium strong, oily, vanilla and an astringent, drying finish.
smoky salty and complex Whisky. just try it with a drop of water and he will explode.
It's very complex, balanced maritime notes with peat and sherry, apple, hazel, peanut, praline, blueberry, fresh on the nose, very smooth and fine,on the palate is still more interesant and complex, rich, full, oily, malt, dark sherry, dark fruits, marzipan, banana maybe pinnaple, floral, wood, leather note, stays long and warm medium dry salty aftertaste...absolute amazing and definitive whisky for more and more enjoying and exploring.
Einer meiner Liebsten. Komplex, eigen und gefährlich lecker.
Sherry, Süße, exotische Frucht, Mango, Zitrus, Limette
Warm, süß, Honig, Karamell, Vanille, Gewürze, Pfeffer, leicht sauer, prickelnd, ölig
Rauch, Eiche, Würze
smoky nose, smoke salt and citrus on the pallet
long long finish..
Full and fruity sherry Scotch. IMO too expensive for what you get.
mon premier Campelton, un regal!
Very nice Campbeltown whisky, not easy to find in my area, but one I'll try to pick up when possible.
Very nice, a little better after sitting for a month after opened. Changes with water and time in the glass. Take your time and enjoy.
