General description
A 46%er with a rye finish sounds very interesting, but a pungent nail polish remover partially spoils it. Too bad, because apart from that, it's quite a decent whisky. Perhaps most other Johnnie Walkers are bottled at 40% to mute the nail polish remover?
Nose
Sharp. Rye spiciness and nail polish remover. Some vanilla and caramel in the back.
Palate
The rye finish is quite present, but the rougher edges are the most prominent, unfortunately. Speculoos, rye and vanilla syrup.
Finish
The best and smoothest part of the whisky, with light spices and caramel.
