If you think this as a bourbon, than it’s not that good... but if you like strong sweet liqueurs than this is perfect.

Wow... I am not usually at a loss for words but the nose is not Apple. Quick sweet then clove, anise, pine, Gardena, Jasmine, WOW APPLE, honey. Not even good for a mixer. I will not buy again. Too spicy for my palate.
Crown Royal did a much better job with this. But still a good mixer with the maple or vanilla for a caramel apple.

Jim Beam's equivalent of southern comfort in the sense that it is not whiskey. And to it's credit, it doesn't claim to be either. It says right on the label "Apple liquor with Kentucky straight bourbon". Tastes like a whiskey made with green apple jolly ranchers. Good in mixed drinks, awful by itself.
It gives you just what it advertises bourbon with apple. As a bourbon it fails. As an apple liqueur, ok I can see that.
