Niby Red, ale zdecydowanie lepsza. Na lodzie bardzo ok, delikatna, pijalna.
Creamy, Bourbon - like, flowery, grainy.
Oily, sweet, fruits.
Woody, pleasant, but short.
Good as a mixer with coke. Served neat is not very good.
It is quite nice blend. Significantly better than JW Red. It can be tiring to drink it solo but it is possible. Better than expected but would suggest to mix it or drink with ice
Sweet, not much alcohol, some cherry and nuts. It has really pleasant nose
Not as good as nose. A little too much alcohol, spice, some rye taste, you can also feel the grain. Some tartness is present. It is drinkable solo but not the most pleasant experience.
Anyway, as for blend taste is really good
Quite long, alcoholic, wood, tart. Nothing extraordinary for the whisky, not bad for blend. I cannot imagine having it drinking solo whole night
I do love cask finishes when they are done well and this one worked great.
very light on the nose, but you can smell almost like a creamy, waxy essence under the more normal smells of J walker.
rounded with hints of baking spice and honey.
velvety but simple finish. very moreish
nice. very smooth. smells honey and vanilla, taste mild much more than jw red. mild grainy on palate.
honey and vanilla.
oak
mild&short smoky
Apimentado, adocicado, finish médio. Não é complexo mas é bem agradável
Pimenta, baunilha
Doce, pimenta, baunilha
Medio
Better version of johnnie walker Red label. Better than black label.
A nice, non-complex and non - pretentious expression from JW. Very easy on the budget and therefore great bang for your buck!
Nose
77
almost classic bourbon on the nose with vanilla, honey, and cherrie. hiding behind the obvious notes I picked up hint of citrus-y notes, with some soft wood and nuts. Not very complex, but well integrated and a good balance.
Taste
81
Deep notes of brown sugar and barley sugar, grainy/cereal notes, spices (the rye casks speaking, no doubt) with licorice, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg and clove finihing off on some vanillastick and honey.
Finish
74
rather short, spicey and a bit of wood before just vanishing into oblivion.
quite nice for the price I like it
Decent whisky. Mostly pretty and simple, with some vanilla, honey and caramel notes, but also some rye-like spice and wood tannines. Worth trying, but I wouldn't recommend buying a whole bottle of this
Delikatne, nieco oleiste, trawiaste.
better than red but wont try again
zeker niet slecht. Heeft een speciaal smaakje door de rye. Prijs kwaliteit zeker een aanrader.
A new way, absolutely different from Red label.
Alcohol, caramel, light sweetness, something bitter maybe.
Lacroix, bitter, light sweet,
Nive warming feeling, light bitter, middle long.
An interesting spin on a standard drink. Cheap enough to try
prett raw, disbalanced
delicate. a good company for Lively moments
Bourbon smell, fresh flowers palate with a not long but satisfying finish
Słodka, owocowa, delikatna, oleista, dużo lepsza niż podstawowy Red Label.
Sweet, bourbon-like, caramel
Sweet, fruity, pepper, oily texture, caramel
Fruits, sweet, pepper
subtil, touche de caramel
smooth and delicate
interessant, fleurig, wat zoet en zeker de moeite waard
Mooie whisky. Veel vanille in de neus maar ook bourbon. Smaak is goed. De rye proef je er doorheen. Iets scherp op de tong precies goed. Een aanrader.
Wow... live is a lot better after having a few of these...
Light, spice, smoke, fresh, very fresh. Is not bad.
Try it.
