Good Canadian rye
|Whisky||Crown Royal Northern Harvest Rye|
Good Canadian rye
A smooth and flavourful rye with a nice spice and sweet finish. Can't beat it for the price.
Awesome for the money..and awesome regardless of price. solid rye
Good rye whiskey. Smooth and typical high rye flavors.
Sweet and herbal notes, with hints or mint and pepper. It would be lovely in a Sazerac!
very tasty, a very good rye for the price.
A proper Canadian whiskey
This, for the price point, is excellent. Perfect for drinks with friends neat or on ice. A waste to mix but works well when done.
light, mild, spice
Wet, full body
dry and smooth
Beautiful Canadian Rue whisky, lovey notes
nice Canadian rye. finished this bottle too fast
A nice try at a Kentucky Rye. Good for making Old Fashioned but not great on the rocks.
Pepper and fruit.
Sharp up front, peppery with some apple and slight cinnamon.
A little hot, spicy but a nice warming of the throat and belly.
Nez surprenant, très doux vanille avec des notes de pommes vertes. Épicé et relativemeny complexe, je suis extrèmement surpris de la qualité de ce whisky. Finale plutôt courte et épicée.
Thin, pleasant nose that dwindles. Sharp, almost tart taste up front. Finish is delightfully caramelly.
Nice pepper finish but not the best Crown Royal has to offer
Straight in your face good rye with a hint of spice. Nice body
crisp with a lighter body. spice and honey
I always think of all Canadian whiskies as ryes so I wondered how this one would taste. I feel like it actually has more corn coming through when compared to "regular" crown. Light oak, vanilla frosted cereal and fruity. The rye does come in the hot finish.
Smooth and sweet
No Age Statement blended Canadian 90% rye
caramel, honey, fruit
Underwhelming, but sweet and fruity, slightly like Splenda
просто и по делу
sweet, moderate complexity and smoothness, vanilla
All hype aside, this is a pretty typical Canadian whiskey. Very sweet, a little watery, not much complexity here. This would be a great first whiskey for someone, it tastes like rye whiskey mixed with sugar water.
Sweet on the nose. maybe some corn in it? Very prickly on the pallet. Nice, but needs some refinement to include some smoothness
Fruity & Spicy.
Dusty grain, green apples, baking spices, black pepper, earthy wood, burnt sugar.
Delicate nose/palate... you really have to work at teasing out all these nuances, but they're hiding behind the caramelized grain.
My first rye. Very impressed.
