Barrel 4-581, bottled 5-28-14.
Amazing nose with peanut brittle, charred oak, vanilla, orange peel, musty corn and a hint of cherry. The palate can't deliver on the promuse of the nose, There's some orange, cherry, a little vanilla and a tart note, the medium finish is a little peppery. Empty glass smells awesome. If the palate and finish matched the nose this would be a 5 star whiskey.
Very smooth. Sipped on rocks or without, depending on weather.
I smell avocado, berries and - yes, corn. Sweet taste, quite strong. A good whiskey - for a Bourbon.
Solid. Everything I would expect from a good bourbon. Will keep this as a staple in my inventory. Great value!

Great Bourbon with strong caramel and vanilla notes, smooth finish
Very good. My particular pour came from a barrel that had a nose and taste like Knob Creek. The difference is in the finish. Buy this when it's on sale. Knob Creek when it's on sale. Enjoy.
It's a harsh wild ride. Nothing like knob creek despite the same mash bill
