Produced by Sasanokawa Shuzo distillery.
It's said this blend is assembled with four malted and grained whiskies and aged in bourbon casks.
Bit strange, yeasty, metallic and spirity... But based upon the aromas and flavors, I'm going to guess it’s relatively youthful… perhaps three to five years.
It's rather disappointing and not a good example of Japanese whisky making. The overwhelming aroma and taste is alcohol with very few secondary flavors and no finish. Not subtle, too aggressive... With such a wealth of Japanese whiskies this one is best avoided sadly...
N-20, P-18, F-16, B-16.

Nose

warm coppery notes, floral, lemongrass, vanilla, barley sugar...

Palate

cereal, sweet hay and malt, some oak with nutmeg, lime zest...

Finish

herbal, cereal, dry and bitter...
