Nice flavor. Definitely taste the cabernet
This is a darker offering finished in Pritchard Hill cab barrels. It is an acceptable whiskey but not up to typical Jefferson offerings.
Honey caramel very faint put off by a moderate pungent red wine note.
Honey caramel some cab competing for space on the pallette modest pepper. Faint vanilla over shadowed by the cab.
Warm to medium spice and pepper with a long finish.
Not what you'd expect, but it's decent.
so nice!
fruity red winr. very dry.
Completely underwhelming. It may have been overhyped or overshadowed by the other whiskies I had tonight.
Smooth finish. Lovely little Kentucky hug.
Wow. What a surprise. definitely the weakest link in my collection. There is minimal balance to this bourbon. There is heat all over the place. The aroma isn't good but it's the best this whiskey has to offer. The taste is very mediocre. A complete 180 on this one. You can't win them all.
very good. The cabernet shows up a little bit mellowing the bourbon a little.
