Decent all round daily dram. Pretty straight forward flavours with a touch of sweetness. Getting a sense of port in the background. Very mild smoke to finish. Good value

Some reviews seemed harsh - I drank this before & always enjoyed it; a fine Tawny colour, {you have to pour it out to find out with such a dark brown bottle}, thin film on the taster. I found it, overall, very pleasant, a "corked", budget blend and most certainly a very good mixer. I would unashamedly serve this to friends for what it is. It is, a very neat 12 yr old blend, not much body, which on ice seemed to pull out a tiny hint of smoke, but I finished my review or tasting, with a little dry ginger ale.🥃 It is, the perfect mixer & even a decoy bottle. 👍

Spirity & warming - cereal or mild wood, paperish.
Palate
Primarily, husky & musty, a dryness, again the cereal - actually pleasant. Some ice, introduced a hint (7/100) of peat.
Finish
Shortish, dry & harmless, no complex bang 💥, but nice. I'm not a snob, its OK:
