General description

Probably my least favorite Bowmore offering. The nose is sweet and smoky with pine needle and wood chip scents instead of the usual smoke. Palate is oily and peaty with a distinct tobacco and ash flavor. Medium to long earthy finish that leaves a very slight mint leaf and pine cone combination that surfaces on the backend. The smoky quality I was expecting was very thin on my dram.

Sweet vanilla. Notes of coastal air and an underlying peaty smokiness.

A hint of ocean spray, smoke lingers. Minerally taste left on the tongue.

nice light floral whisky from Bowmore. Considering its peaty foundation it is quite delicate. hints of vanilla and sea salt. If you prefer light whisky with subtle peaty notes then for the money, (£28- £30) then this is a bargain. Comparible with the Caol ila.
