Neat: Vanilla on the nose (of course). Slightly sickly sweet. The vanilla doesn't completely overpower the bourbon.
On the rocks: surprisingly more interesting. Vanilla mellows a bit, and you can definitely taste the bourbon. I actually prefer this on ice.
