really tasty whiskey
I love this whiskey. easy to drink and quite unique.
Smells like a rye to me
minty, honey, floral, burnt caramel
light mouth, very approachable, Stark spice, Big and bold taste that just vanishes after you swallow, mint, all spice and cloves
finish is lacking.. possible hints of bitter grapefruit, honey, minty. but doesn't linger.
Batch 91. Musty orange, oak, cinnamon and ethanol on the nose, pretty sweet and smooth with barrel spices on the palate, spicy, peppery medium finish. A splash of water does this no favors. The nose turns sickeningly sweet and the palate becomes harsh.
Tasted @ Epicenter Fest with an Enter Night Pilsner at the Blackened Booth during the ~35 minutes I was actually inside of the festival grounds. Thanks a lot Danny Wimmer.
This was not bad for gimmick whiskey. It has promise. It just needs a bit more of it's good notes to shine without the off flavors along for the ride. The taste of youth cuts through a bit strong. It was the highlight of my trip (unfortunately).
Heavy rye blend
VERY Smooth, one of my favorites.
great if you like Rye. sweet on the nose with a little pepper on the taste.
a nose of fruit. very smooth
surprised by his Good taste
