great
sweet, sherry
sherry, sweet, soft
fine whisky. generally good taste though not really special
Nice whiskey, but did not wow me. Some toffee and nutty sherry on the nose and palate, medium finish is a little rough and spicey. A splash of water adds some orxhard fruut on the nose and makes the palate creamier.
very rich, great tasty, herbal, dark-fruity sherry malt
candied fruits, clearly a lot of dark sherry, marzipan, sweet, vanilla, caramel, dark cherries, dates; dark orange peel; some oakey aromas already; some blueberries und black currant with some time, some spices; dark and rich in total; spiced honey
soft, dark berries, chocolate, warm fruitiness, dark sherry, cherries; then some cocoa and oak spice rises; raisins, nuts, some gentle cappuccino aromas
rich sherry, candied fruit sweetness, getting dry; cappuccino and spices again; oak, herbs; later on some marzipan sweetness and dried fruits
sweet, spice and dark fruit on the nose,
spice, honey and oak on the palate,
bitter dark chocolate, and herbs on the finish.
on the nose first i get red fruit spices and caramel. very nice
On the pallet its oily, sweet and spicy going into a long oaky finish getting a little bitter in the end
for me adding a few drops of water makes it even better
Great smooth whisky, long tasting, ends with hints of vanilla
beautiful whisky. apricot and chocolate and makes an excellent after dinner drink
Orange and a bit too much alcohol on the nose. Fruits replace the alcohol pretty soon. Also a wood background smell. Spicy taste and medium finish.
We have the pre-silent period version which we know is mainly 18 and we love it. Can't comment yet on the new release
