General description

A very smooth sherried whisky with a promising nose and a very pleasing finish that makes you happy! In between it's a bit too gentle for my taste, but still really good.

Nose

Very tasty fruity nose, very intensive but also fresh and light. I find strongly a bit tart and sour fruits like gooseberry, red currant. Also raspberries and citrus fruit like mandarins and grapefruit. In the end there's even a little resin as you usually find in Bourbons...

Palate

Stewed figues and dates, caramel pudding and some spices. Very smooth and balanced.

Finish

Toffee chocolate and salt caramel. Very sweet and not a hint of bitterness.

Ich rieche dunkle Früchte, vor allem Rosinen und Sherry, außerdem Anklänge von Schokolade. Fruchtsüße prägt den Geschmack, der Whisky ist im Anschluss leicht rauchig. Der sehr weiche Abgang ist geprägt von Sherry und einigen Nuancen Honig.

Ein sehr angenehmer und süßer Tropfen mit leichten Anklängen von Sherry.
