Good spice. Dry oak. Toasted caramel. Good oil texture. Tastes a higher proof than it is. Slightly dry on the end. Definitely worth getting.
caramel and maple on the nose. Good woodiness and fruit balance on the palate. long, spicy finish.
lots of heat and spice on the nose. picking up some vanilla and pleasant sweetness. Finish is not as hot or spicy as the nose would suggest. I have always been a big fan of Dickel. This is a great expression and definitely worth a try
lot of fruit on the nose very sweet along with corn. palate has some fruit, char and a great bacon finish. Very good bourbon for the price.
Pretty hot with bot much nose. The finish was strong and one dimensional and palate was more heat than anything else. Will let it breath and try latter.
Really liking the flavor, firm believer that a lot of the ratings are done by brand and popularity, if this was in a different bottle, it would be a much higher rating.
Not a fan of most Dickel, but a 13 yr BiB for $35.? I Had to give it a try. Nice light aroma. I don't get a lot of flavor on palate but the finish is long and complex. Tannic oak, Vanilla, roasted almonds
Vanilla, oak, alcohol
Sweet ess
Vanilla, Bitter oak, roasted almonds, alcohol burn, maybe cinnamon
